Rick's cleaning parts as we speak. He wasn't planning on building it quite yet but he's waiting on some parts for a race motor and doesn't want stuff cluttering his work area. It should be built by Monday probably.

You know what? There's a site called where'sgeorge.com where you can keep track of where your dollar bill has been over time.. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a similar site for renesis motors to see who has owned yours if you get a reman?

With the ultimate NA unit, 220 to the wheels would not be tough although 230ish is quite possible. This would require everything being optimized though and the car would be loud. These numbers have been achieved without portwork on various classes of RX8 racecars.

Please be sure your idea "loud" is on the same scale, "ckachur"... You have heard a catless RX8 before? Personally I couldn't live with that day to day I'm assuming that porting would amplify the noise also

The interesting thing about the RX-8 is that exhaust tone seems louder in the interior than it really is outside the car. What I mean is that as loud as it sounds in the car I always think that the exhaust would be much louder outside, but it's not that bad. I still wouldn't run without a silencer, though.

It's actually got the front cover on and one of our water pumps so this one is going to run $2850 plus core and the ride. The parts are tight, very good stout piece for someone starting over.

We could (And just might) bring to market the ultimate cat back exhaust system. We'll just have to wait and see. I don't think there's an equal to it on the market worldwide in terms of design, build quality, durability, sound quality or power. Alas, that's another topic for another day.

It depends on who "they" are. The ceramic seals for this car have existed since 04. Only one manufacturer operates with the precision to produce these for Renesis and they have been used exclusively for competition since then. The answer to my riddle is on my website .
