pretty interesting ... you got 192 from dyno, new coils give you some more .... I have K&N version 2 as well, but with no midpipe nor exhaust, I wonder how much HP I can pull now.
You dont havE RB Flash right ? I wonder what will RB flash do to your car. I always want to dyno my car but I just cant find seems to find a place in NYC that allows me to do that.
and Will, you said you have Agency Power Underdrive pulley, any plans to take it out ? since you have a better pump now.
I already wired my Temp Gauge to my Defi Control Unit II, so as soon as I have da new pump, I will go ahead install the pump, then install the sensor.

I would like to say that seeing the Mazmart pump up close was very impressive. The impellor is quite a nice bit of CNC machine work. When I first saw the pictures I figured "El Proffessor" had found an impellor that he liked from another model and put it to work. Not at all the case, this was more than just a educated guess. It was a design project that should be a great thing for us.
On a side note to Brettus:
Definitely not a dyno error. I have used this particular dyno for many years and have found it to be extremely consistant and properly calibrated. I have tested the same car 6 months apart in vastly different weather and gotten the same output.

Yes we did get basicaly 2 runs for each set up - two at 192 before coil swap, two at 202 after coils, then the 208, and right after the 208 i beleive it was a 206.8 we pulled...

Fortunately, we did several runs with each set up and got very, very similar results. I can also feel a definite power increase.
I do agree - increased cooling capacity is the primary objective of this project. Increased HP is an added bonus.

+1 on the 3% is not enough to feel but the dyno looks believable . Would be even more so if there was more runs put on the same chart .
It appears that the water pump has changed the curve a little - taking away from the midrange but adding some up top . Hence my comment that the UD pulley + this mod could be a good setup .

How do you figure it indicating an error? SAE correction factor would take the weather conditions into account. The numbers have been repeatable each and every time.

OD, you have gauges and are getting your pump shortly, do you have access to a Dyno in Macon? Maybe you should come up here for your install and run at Dynolab?

If I can get our car to do OK with the oem pump temp wise--this cant do anything but better. Besides it is the high rpm cooling that will change significantly, not the everyday driving--unless you have FI, live in a VERY hot climate or have a LOT of stop and go bumper to bumper traffic on a 90F day etc. But with this pump a person will probably not have to do the little tricks associated with increased cooling.

Do you have gauges and will you document the temps when you run before and after? Video of the gauges would be good.

Video of the gauges ? not a problem. but Before and after temp change ? not sure if I will do that, cuz I was thinking to install the gauge sensor and the water pump at the same time.
(I am waiting for Paul to send me the pump *hint hint*)

but absolutely correct a water temp gauges is controlled by the thermostat(another discussion!)until the cooling system is overwhelmed.
