Is that intake and exhaust just a generic used on the test stand? If it's not, I can't figure out what they'd fit in.

One thing that stands out for me is the apparent lack of fuel injectors on the intake manifold. The only injectors I see (I could just be blind) are on the rotor housings on the intake side of the engine.
There are many reasons I didn't take close pics of this one, not the least of which is your powers of observation and desires of proclamation .

It does come with a one year limited liability Warranty, the details of which will be published elsewhere (With the part).

We will be releasing and promoting our pump on our new website (To be announced soon). Pump sales without promotion have been interesting. We've sold them to people as far away as China and United Arab Emirates for forced induction vehicles.

Some users will remain un-named by their own request for various reasons. Maybe some of the others will chime in at some point.

It sounds like we could buy the pump right now. If that is so, than how do we do that?

Could we get comparison specs between the RX-8 original water pump and your better replacement water pump?

I'm also not understanding the issue between the more efficient Mazmart water pump and the underdrive pulley.

If the new mazmart water pump is more efficient than the OE water pump than why would there be any problems at low rpms? I would think the higher efficiency of the mazmart water pump + underdrive pulley = (at least equal) OE water pump at low rpms.

At high rpms the problem was the OE water pump would cavitate/stall. The underdrive pulley would prevent this. Would this not be the same for Mazmart water pump and underdrive pulley?

I understand the underdrive pulley would reduce how much coolant the mazmart water pump could flow, but it would still be working. An OE pump with standard pulley would be stalling.

Overall I'm saying is that the Mazmart water pump should still work with the underdrive pulley. Which would be overall better for performance of your car, just Mazmart water pump or Mazmart water pump + underdrive pulley, would be something determined by dyno chart or driver.

The main suppose benefit of the underdrive pulley was being able to get to higher revs faster and a slight HP increase (like 2 HP). To not want to use an underdrive pulley, the argument would have to be that a Mazmart water pump being driven at the standard speed of the OE pulley is helping cool the engine "X" more efficiently so that you are getting a "gain in usable HP" that is greater than the sight HP gain or revving faster given by a underdriven pulley. "Gain in usable HP" = less HP to drive water pump? and HP gain from cooler engine vs hotter engine.

i'm open to corrections as i havent followed closely...

OEM pump cavitates at high rpm... underdrive pulley prevents this... but also flows less at idle/low rpms that is bad

Mazmart pump flows better all the way through the rev band without cavitating.... you could put an UD pulley on it... but why? for 2 horses??? for 2hp why would you want to mess with something that is already very sufficient, at the risk still of possibly not flowing enough at idle/low rpm?

As stated by paulmasoner the underdrive pulleys are best at slowing your pump down to prevent cavitation. We view this as a band-aid and our pump as a remedy. It can be used with an under drive; it's just better without one.

Absolutely. When we get time we may look into some thermostat modifications also but we like some of the fan controls that are out there to compliment our pump.
