I'm hoping that I'll know more by the end of this week. I would hope that we can have product to market within a month.

This may be one of the most significant of simple mods to arrive for the 8s since their inception.

Pricing to come.

Paul.

It must just be me, but I thought voicing support for an upcoming product was a good thing...

yeah, but my way I kill two birds with ONE stone:
1) subscribe to thread
2) free post.

Bonus point: gives the original poster a more accurate figure as to who is keeping an eye on their thread.

Of all the mods I've done to my 8, I never once thought about upgrading the water pump... This DEFINITELY caught my eye though:

If I have missed this somewhere someone just yell at me. Have there been any numbers as to flow rates or extra capacity rates posted for what this pump is going to do?

The only thing you've missed is that this thing is being developed by Rick Engman of Downing Atlanta/ Mazmart to take care of what he perceives as a problem for continual high rev applications. If you don't know who he is you better get to googling.

I'm sure that Mazmart will provide some type of figures to back up their claims.

Well I know Rick Engman makes quality stuff .... but I wanna know how much :P

Stock pump cost about 80 bux shipped .... so .... hehe

I know I know this pump will not be some garbage like stock pump, which stops itself from working at high RPM to prevent *damage?*, but hehe .... please make it not so expensive, you know alot of people will buy from you.

Yeah, this seems like it will be a seriously needed mod.

Anything to keep the beast cool.
