Was it with a k&N drop in filter and a cat-back or just tuned with everything else on the car stock?

On a stock car, expect about 5 - 7 HP.
The exhaust makes a big difference.

by exhaust making a big difference do you just mean cat back??

So getting a mid pipe is the only wayt to see more gains? or can more gains be achieved with only cat back?

GOTTA ORDER THAT MID PIPE!

hey MM is there a way to raise the idle speed??? evr since i got my flywheels i tend to get a minor vibration and the cobb ap says im idling at around 820-780 RPMranges

is there any way maybe to raise it to 900 RPM-950RPM since the vibration does not occur at that rpm level.. Just wanting to know thanks

Then you wouldn't need the gas pedal.
You could just use the clutch to make your own CVT!

Just ordered a AP from MM Thanks!

I only have a 3" Midpipe and a K&N filter on the way what other mods (other than the Mazsport Ignition (I plan to get that next) would make more power with the AP?

MM,

I ordered the EFIDude in order to do some data logging to make your job easier. Currently I'm on 1b_1b and running WOT AFR of 11.0. Let me know what kind of data you want and how I should go about collecting it for you. Also e-mialed you at AP@mazdamaniac

you will be surprised as to what the real data is as compared to what you are seeing.

8 more days and you'll see a ton of data.... Jeff, Ray, and I are putting 20 cars on the dyno; 10 of which are running AP tunes.

stay tuned boys and girls.

I'm sure I will. I figure the more data I get MM the better tunes he can make for me. Plus that way I can also learn.

As a side note can anyone that knows about tunning make a quick write up about what all the different screens on the AP are used for? The live data has a bunch of screens I have no idea about.

just loaded the stock map for the first time. took it around the block, as expected the STFT was all over the place but kept coming to rest at a slightly negative value (at idle)
right before I turned it off, it went to a small positive value but I'm going to try the 1b map now and see what happens.

Just a question, on the NA maps is the redline raised to 9300rpm like the RB (and I believe Cobb maps) or is it still at 9000?

Thanks

STFT is going to go all over the place. We only care about it at idle right after you start the car for the first time.
After that, we start to look at the LTFT instead.

Think of the initial STFT value as an estimate and the LTFT as an invoice.

I'm pretty sure I've set it to 9200 on all of the N/A calibrations.

Jedi,

You guys want to send me in last? I think I probably have one of the more complicated setups. Different injector sizes, fuel pressure regulator, a wired open aux port, etc.

Also, did you guys talk to Neptune about how late they were going to stay open if we run over?

Thanks,

Shane
