If someone approached you with all the right answers, you might think of them as a savior too. Just gotta watch them around small children and don't eat their baked goods.

Cult? I like the mafia comparison.

I had visions of certain people waking up next to their turbo or blower!

Oh well, that moment is over... and I like coke.... I have been involved with too many companies that want their folks to drink the coolaid.

Twinks, let me know when you open the first one!

And my money (when it flows) is on MM. He will be doing this stuff even if Cobb goes out of business (not to start any rumors).

Are you going to dyno after the install?

I'd love to see the #'s on a N/A with midpipe, ignition and the AP.

The next PO will be going in early next week. If you want to get in on having one from that shipment, go to my page and follow the links.

For everyone that has already ordered theirs, the first 11 hit UPS this morning (except the Canadians, which will go out today via USPS to save them the import tariffs) and the next 15 will hit UPS tomorrow morning.

On a separate note, I just got one of these:

F-ing badd-***!
It is PERFECT for mobile tuning.

eeepc is awesome. The next one will have a slightly bigger screen and use a passively cooled intel chip. So no moving hard drive, and no moving fan for the cpu. It should be perfectly quiet.

hp is launching one similar, it's $100 more and the case is metal: http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/19/h...2133-revealed/

So no more crazy stink at idle? I hope so =/

I think this will soon be THE combination of Mods to have N/A. It seems 220 will be about the number, at under $2k installed, with dyno time.

Also, if someone could please advise to the accuaracy that it shouldn't smell too bad at idle with the AP as it should be suffciently lean? If this is correct, it may be a final hurdle to convince me to go catless. I can get past the flames and the emissions, as I just tested, but I simply don't think I could deal with a constant sulfer smell.

I am getting one and I will be in Chicago for one of the upcoming meets. It might be April but I will be making my way up there fairly soon. I will bring it with me and you can have a look at it for yourself if you want.

No matter how lean the idle is, those of us that are catless will allways have a little bit of a smell. Most vehicles, regardless of tuning, are only able to use @19% of the available energy in pump gasoline. The rest goes out the tailpipe in the form of unburned hydrocarbons.

I need to caveat this with the fact this is an opinion and I have no idea what I am talking about.

Catless will always have a smell. But if your idle is sufficiently lean, the fumes will be reduced. No sense in a rich idle anyway.

Sorry for hi-jacking your thread MM.
Do you have a thread you could direct me in Razz1?
Sorry that will be hard to find, no dedicated thread.

Lots of threads indicating the result and why it is happening. Too rich at wide open throttle.

You could try a search for rich and check the old threads first. Check throttle electronic too.

And CAM: I have the Mazdasport ignition and am waiting for the AP.

As far as cult............

I've tunned several race bikes. Been around Micky Thompson as my brother was his mechanic.

I can tune it my self, but I don't want to invest the money or time. At least not yet.

Pretty easy decision:

MM spends tons of time w/tunning the Wankel so why should I go somewhere else or do it my self when I know MM can handle it.

Same reason for BHR:

Alot of things you can do your self or get parts elsewhere, but why when you can get it from someone who is devoted to getting it right the first time concerning quality and service.

Wow. Thanks Glen!
Tracking number coming your way in an hour or so.
It actually ships in the morning, but I think you are only two days from me via UPS.
Maybe Monday.
