honda: you ordered it just two days ago and you're already inquiring as to where it is???
his website specifically states that you will receive it (or it will be shipped, I forget which) within 11 business days

hang tight, it'll take time to process and get sent out but you'll have it soon and it will be worth the wait.
I imagine MM is SUPER BUSY right now with orders since the AccessPORT has been discontinued and is no longer being produced by Cobb.

found it:
Orders are processed in the sequence in which they are received. Orders will typically ship within 11 business days from receipt of payment. Shipping times vary by destination. Shipping is by UPS to the USA and USPS to all other locations.

Ok, so apparently the COBB wasn't attached to the OBD-II well enough? It's working!

Thanks guys

PS Flashwing, I must have watched MM's install video a hundred times before I even ordered the thing lol. I'll start working on my COBB tomorrow...

Mine has done this since day one.... my logs still work fine, after I select data log I hit okay, then it takes me to the data log list where I have to select something to monitor then start the data log there, and all parameters I selected still get datalogged in one file

I'm starting to feel like an idiot... But, my AP doesn't have any pre-loaded maps. And there are only 3 options to choose from on my screen when I plug it in (Install, Troubleshooting and About).

When I click on "Install" all I have are: Anti-theft, Gas mileage, Valet, Stage 1, etc. No MM maps (like on the "Install" video).

Do I have to download the maps from MM website?

Yes. I've read the instructions instructions. I've downloaded AP Updater and Manager. I've used my password to enter MM website and used the info my AP gave me when I first plugged it into my OBD-II. I then opened the PTM file, but nothing happens.

When I plug the AP into my laptop, it says that it's using the correct updates...

Yes, we no longer provide pre-loaded maps.

When you have downloaded the maps to the accessPORT, you should then be able to connect the AP to your RX8 with the ignition in the "run" position. At that point it will prompt you to "install" the accessPORT but won't do so until you select a tune to install. Once you select the tune the AP will save your factory tune and install the new flash.

If you fall outside your 6-month calibration window then yes you will have to pay again. If you were to switch to a new car you would have to start all over anyway because there are too many variations between cars to use a tune from a different RX8.

Considering they are not being made anymore I'd say whatever price will put it in your hand is a good price.

Question.

I logged for a couple hours during acanyon run today, came home, connected the AP, and all my logs are dated 12/05/ 2006. I am looking at the logs now, wondering if it was even logging today even though the screen said "logging".

I looked through the settings, where does the cobb gets its date from?

I asked him the same thing about two logs. Jeff was telling me yesterday that the Cobb really has no way of telling what day it is. So the date can be random. I think you can rename the file and change the date during download.

I can verify again just to make sure. But I could have sworn that was what he said. Because I ended up with two logs that were 4 days apart.

I think the easiest thing is to create a log library file.
