Cobb AccessPORT Discussion
Yeah, with the stock MM map I'm at 11.1 AFR at WOT. (acronyms!) I'm not exactly sure where I'm running lean enough to heat up, but my cat got -very- spicy after a few days with the stock MM map. I've actually had to revert to the stock map until Jeff can help me sort it out. I hope he got my email, the stock map sucks so bad after getting used to his tune. It feels like I'm driving a Yugo.

The initial maps that come with the AP do not contain any fuel or timing adjustments...they only have MAF calibration adjustments. The point is to get your fuel trims as close to 0% as possible. Once that is done, you send MM data information about your AFR's at various loads and RPMS so he can forward you a custom tune.
If you have not gotten a tune back from MM and are using the calibrations that came with the AP there could be another issue.
Are you running a custom map that he emailed to you or are you talking about the calibrations that come with the AP?

Sorry for the inconvenience and the hold up guys but the fix is now implemented and highly recommend everyone who has already downloaded this software previously should re-download this new fix for it.
If you have any questions let me know, thanks. =)

You have not kept up with MM requests - He has stated not to send him a PM. If you wish to contact him use the email address that is on his web site ap@mazdamaniac.com
finally got around to screen capping the data log and sending info off... now the wait begins... how much of a wait should I expect? I seem to remember him being a bit behind/busy when I was following the thread but I've fallen behind since the start of school...
Thanks.
Probably a while, unless he catches up with the backlog. I've waited 3 weeks now and nothing yet.
I'm just gonna take a while guess and say he's a bit behind. But I'm going to further make a blind *** guess and say his lack of posting on the boards is because he's been working on the backlog
Guys, one thing that we all need to remember is that Jeff does all this work on the side, it is not what he does for a living.
Jeff does quite a bit of travelling for his other 'job' and that often takes him away for days / weeks at a time.
SevenStock is also 1 week away so I assume he's helping out Ray with a few BHR projects for the event.
Patiently we must wait.

Patience is a virtue but waiting more than one month for reflash so you can have a check engine light off from having no-cat and so you can use another intake that you bought form BHR is really pushing it. That and the fact that the communication with jeff is very poor. Good thing Charles is there to back him up or I would have given up hope a long time ago.
