That's exactly what I'm thinking because if turbo cars can handle it, why not me? I'd get worse gas mileage and worse power, but is it bad for the motor short term? I think the minimum was about 12 or a tiny bit below. Also, when I tested for which preloaded map to use, if I idle at lets say -2 to 2 trim--i guess average zero-- and when i drive it gets to zero, am I using the right map? It was the original preloaded one ?

MM,

Did you get my log? I want to make sure you received it and that it didn't get stuck in limbo somewhere (in the Internets...lol).

Mine usually stayed there too, but it had peaks at 15 and 13.8 and such. Dunno what's up with that, maybe that's why he's asking for this data

MM: Would like the updated datalogs after we get your revised maps?

I've also noticed above 4500rpm cruising in 3rd gear it starts to get pretty rich but other than that I'm good at like 14.5 afr...unless if it's safe to go any leaner =)

MM-I'm purchasing a MM AP from a-spec fd (alan) and he said the custom maps should transfer over to me since he did not use them. What do you need to make the transfer legit. Thanks.

Just shoot me an e-mail at ap@mazdamaniac (.com) with your name and working e-mail address as well as the name and e-mail address of the seller.
I'll send you an e-mail in return with a bunch of questions.

Daemos,

If you've gotten a new map since you generated data then the typical course is for you to install the new map, do a bunch of driving - as in a a couples days worth, generate new data, and go from there.

I've been working from an approx. 1 month window. I got my last update on 8/5, ran for a solid month with it, and just the other day sent Jeff new data.

In my experience, it takes Jeff between a day and 5 days to provide an update, I'm guessing, depending on his "overall" load.
