Don't bother with first.
Second and third are all that matter initially.

What part of "attach the calibration" didn't you understand?
I'm sorry. I understand you are frustrated, but I haven't the patience to deal with that kind of belligerence.

The problem with you is that you started to question why he needed it attached, rather than just bloody attaching it and stop asking questions

He needs to be sure what calibration you are using, as there are many different ones named similar probably. He already said that. He wants it organized so there's a system he can look at.

Most of us are willing to help, but if you start questioning everything you are told to do I wouldn't blame someone for running out of patience.

This is why I have never been able to handle "customer service" type jobs... I would seriously snap.

Hi Jeff. I live in Switzerland. If the device is ready for our cars I want to buy it and work with you to improve it. The car is NA 192 HP 5-speed manual and this is the first mod I would make, or maybe remove the cat first. I PMd you but had no answer.

Can you please contact me?

Thanks,

European support is still in the works. I have NOT received an update yet.
I have several customers in Europe, but they are running US-spec cars.

Thanks. Please keep me informed. I will be your first customer.

What is so different about European cars anyway?

Just the ROM header. The tuning is more or less the same.
Once they add the header to the firmware, we will be good to go.

Graphical Data...

From what I've been reading, apparently I'm not the only one who isn't proficient in excel. I know Jeff prefers the graphical data in excel but some of us aren't gurus on it. Can anyone be kind enough to post a quick how to so we don't keep running into this problem? I'm sure Jeff will appreciate it if a "tutorial" was posted on here on how to input the rpm's, load, afr's etc. into a graphical format so he doesn't have to keep explaining on what he needs from us. That man has enough on his plate so if any of you are up to the challenge please post it. If it has been done already in the 150+ pages in the "AP Discussion" can someone please let me know what page I can find it on? I searched but found "nada"...lol.

Thanks in advance

v/r,

Ramon

I will settle for a drawing on a cocktail napkin with a crayon.
Really.
As long as you believe it is an accurate representation of what your motor is doing (it is your car after all), I can make do.

If you have a sCANalyser, there's a section at the end of the manual that discusses a similar process for generating graphs from it's csv export utilizing a pivot table.

While the product isn't being supported by MSD to the extent it was, you can also purchase an MSD dashhawk which has way more sensor readings than the scanalyser and full data logging ability.

It's a piece of cake to log AFR, load, and RPM and you can send it in a jpeg format as well as being able to edit the log to get the exact data you want.

Not a sales pitch, but it seems like people are having issues with getting the correct data needed.

MM, Thanks for the reply but I'd prefer not to use a cocktail napkin to show my AFR's...lol. I'll try to get it to you on Excel if possible. I want the calibration that you send to me to be dead on...

ShellDude, you're too much bro...lol. Thanks for the link. I will follow your instructions and hope for the best...gracias. I see you're around Philly. Are you going to the Grand-Am race in Jersey at the end of the month? I'd be great if some of the members here would get together for the race. Hit me up on PM if you're going or know anyone who is...

Ramon

MM: I just got the datalogger yesterday, I just finished re-calibrating the AP with the basemaps (as long as I only need to look at STFT at idle and not while I'm driving, because it fluctuates when I drive, but it's stable at -1/0/+1 when idling)

I'll try to get 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear WOT this weekend, is it possible to get a map that also optimizes cruising fuel economy? Although I don't think the fuel economy is bad right now...I wouldn't complain if it could be even a little better (as long as there aren't too many trade offs)

this is not an attack. as i think the dash hawk is cool. but what sensor reading can it do that the scanalyser cant?
