Rev limit is 9200 RPM. I can put it anywhere up to 10k upon request.
It doesn't matter what direction the trim is going. As long as its less than ~12% or so, it is inconsequential.

That explains why we couldn't come up with an answer at that meet! Alright, thanks for clearing that up. The data that is being posted would be for that maximization then, ok makes sense.
I don't see why Mazda couldn't alter the fan trigger temps with one of their software revisions, I still haven't seen coolant temps past 200F since installing a MM map.

Hey Jeff, Switched to the 5b (-10) All my Afr's are looking great until i hit 101 mph then its just 11.1, 100 mph its chilling at 12.5-13.2 but right when i cross the 101 marker its way too rich.

That's odd. Any time I'd get up that high, it would go well into the 220s before leveling off. On the other hand, my fan(s) are essentially always on now.

Wouldn't that be a bad thing for the fans to be running all the time?
I'm not sure, I suppose it's fine as long as the battery is strong. I'm requesting a slightly higher fan trigger temp to try and get the best of both worlds, sorta say. Jeff had mentioned it here. I'd think you'd want to try out the MM setting and see how it works for you first.
I noticed that after I got the Mazda MSP-16 flash that my fans seem to run more often and for longer duration after I shut the engine off. I wonder if it's just me or if they tweaked the trigger temp.
cat and compression is fine... had em checked today
timing is what im thinking is the problem... im putting in new spark plugs this week to see if condtions improve.. i doubt that is it cause they are only 6 months old.... but whatever... can always pull em .. check em clean em back up and throw em back in

How was your CAT "checked"?
Coils, not plugs.
Most importantly - have you followed the instructions for your AccessPORT that I sent (and posted)?
What are your load AFRs? Where did your fuel trims net?
Right....I had the same HP #'s as Jim (heyarnold), and we are both still running very rich. Jeff, did you get my email from Saturday afternoon? I included my dyno results and all the relevant info. And my plugs and coils were recently changed.
Smoothing as in a function of the dyno software? We had 2 other 8's run on the same dyno immediately after him, and there was no jagged-ness. But yeah, his pull did sound and otherwise appear normal, so it seems like some sort of display glitch.

cat was checked by some cool maching that measures air in and out of the cat and gasses apparently ... im sure there is a technical name for what the dude did... i just dont know it.
I am simply tooting the "teamwork" horn.

We also have input and help from MANY people who wish to see us successful and, for them, we are grateful.

i'd venture that it has to do with mileage, emisions or something of that nature
From the first page, why are these CEL's masked?
# P0300 Random misfire detected

as well as all the front O2 sensor stuff?
