Nope, the plug and wire were completely gone, only the female end was left on the coolant sensor. You are right about the AC switch, we just en plugged it at the switch so the connector is fine on that end.

Has anyone driven a dodge avenger? OMG I can't wait to get my car back from the shop. I can't stand this car and the suspension is so bouncy it feels like I'm off roading and that the car is gonna tip over when I turn cuz I'm use to the 8 lol. I have to remember to slow down before I turn lol.

Oh yeah? In my RX-8 life I have had a Ford Taurus, Saturn ION, Jeep Commander, Kia Optima, Chrylser 300, Chevy HHR, Ford Focus, and Nissan Sentra FE. The Sentra FE and Kia Optima were the best to drive on a regular basis so I have come to the conclusion that all American cars suck. The HHR and Saturn ION were the worst. Honestly, I know these are rentals but I have never driven and American car I liked.

I noticed that if I drive for a long time in the 8 it shakes pretty bad while idling when I come to a stop. Does anyone know why it does that? It's not a constant shake it shakes for a second then stops then shakes again then stops. One time it just died while idling. I looked at the temp gauge and the thing was still in the middle. Another time it felt really funny like I had no power. Earlier in the day it had shut off a couple of times without revving it up by mistake and I don't know if it partly flooded or if thats even possible. All I know is that it would accelerate really slow and I had to push the gas halfway down to the floor just to keep it from not dying when going from a stop. Went and saw a movie and when I got out it was fine. Is there something wrong with my car? I was planning on buying BHR's ignition system. I noticed that when it felt like there was no power it had a hard time starting to. I wonder if I should get a new battery as well.

^ It could be something simple or something major. Stalling can sometimes mean low compression or it could be a simple as a vacuum leak.

honestly..... that is exactly what SWG's car was doing there at the very end

the warmer it got, the shakes would come, and then the stalling

if you go tonight, bring it with..... i will drive it and see what it feels like, and let you drive mine so you can tell the difference in power

Yeah that would be awesome but my driver side door is getting fixed at the shop still. I have Brittney's car to compare and there is a difference but I'm just guessing it's from the RB exhaust. Her's is more responsive and revs up as soon as I touch the gas but mine is a split secod difference. It doesn't rev up quite as quickly as hers does. I want to make sure it runs good before I do any kind of modification on it.

I just called the shop and they said they SHOULD have it done by the end of the day so we'll see. I guess you'll find out at GG and if you see a dodge avenger then you know they didn't finish it LOL
