You should have researched about rebuilding RX-8 transmission. Did you even listen to anything we have been trying to tell you?

He has an autotragic. I am sure complete foreign would have sold him the auto trans from the yellow they have for cheap.

 

$2800 doesn't sound too bad to me. Eurasian Auto Repair rebuilt a transmission for me for $2000 on a Caravan. This was the same price as the lowest price i could find on a re-manufactured transmission. I will eventually need one on my M3 because i know it leaks and I think they said it would cost about 2800.

 

A typical auto trans rebuild is around 2k. But a quick search shows quite a few low mileage RX8 auto trannys both four and six speeds for around $1,000.00.

Ahh forgot to tell ya that yellow one is gone... my bro went and got the AC Amplifier out of it back in August ($50) and they told him he was just in time before they sent it to the crusher...

but this shop said they could rebuild for cheaper. then without my authorization
ordered everything.

I did not agree to pay 2,800 but if i don't they will put a lien on my ride.
so i will just have them fix it. and take a loss no biggy.

 

nah, it's still there. I called about the noise filter for the power steering last week. I need to get my *** down there and see if that part is still on it.
