So, couple of fun stories: I've been pulled over twice in the last few days.

1) Got pulled over turning off of hildebrand onto I-10 feeder. Asks me if it's my car etc. Runs my license and then comes back and tells me I need to display my plate properly (temp plate) because he wasn't able to see it. I explain that they told me this was a new system and that I was supposed to have it in my rear windshield. He asks "Who's they?". I say the DMV/tax office and he tells me they were wrong. No ticket or warning.

2) I was just out driving around a bit after visiting my g/f. Spirited driving, but nothing extreme. I turned around in a shopping center on babcock and pulled out with absolutely no other cars coming (I could see the light; cars were stopped). I accelerate a little aggressively, but not topping out gears or anything. Well before the end of 2nd I shift up to 5th and slow down a bit. The light had turned green and the cars had started moving but a fair ways behind me aside from one going much faster. As I'm approaching medical and babcock, that car has caught up and turns out to be a cop. Hits his light pretty much right as we're at medical and babcock so I pull over immediately. He comes up and asks for license and insurance and says he's pulling me over for speeding. I asked "the limit's 45 isn't it?" and he says that's not what he clocked me at. I'm seriously doubting he had his radar out at a light ready to check my speed as I pulled out of a shopping center. He put it down as 58 mph (in 45) which I'm not even sure I hit considering how I was shifting. Not really sure what kind of chance I have to dispute this... I'm seriously doubting that he had the radar out and ready to catch a car pulling out of a shopping center speeding.

If you need someone to fight this just let me know, you probably pay the same amount but it won't go on your record and no defensive driving or any of that.

Definitely thinking about going that route. I'll be talking with my Dad about it soon just to get his 2 cents so I'll let you know.

Sup fellas? It's my last weekend in SA, anything going on? I stopped by Biff's last Friday, but didn't see anyone, did see a lot of "muscle" and a GTR. Hopefully I'll be headed back this way to stay in a few months, pray for me.

Everyone have a good/safe weekend?

Was over at my friends place today and saw this in the parking lot... assuming it was a hit and run from someone partying too hard the night before, but I didn't see it happen, so who knows.

Didn't get a good picture of the lot/spaces, but it's at the corner of the lot. There's only one space to the right of it and then a dumpster. I'm assuming someone came around the corner too fast/wasn't paying attention and hit it. I'd be a little pissed if I was the owner.

Yep. Not mine though, I have a single Fluidyne setup. They arrived today, I'll be installing and documenting before and after oil pressure data with stock coolers and then with these and the Mazmart oil pressure mod. Amongst other things

Most likely 9K will log and monitor the oil temps and pressure via PLX devices data logging software and hardware. I have a very trick set up in mind.
