i will meet you guys at 7 fri, and sat i am still game for run (Despite emergency kidney surgery yesterday lol and a pending surgery #2 that i am trying to hold off till next week AFTER the run...i think i impressed my kidney doc with my excuse that i cannnnnot miss the state run lol).
reality is i will have to take it easy and stay in the cruise pack which is usually group 3 if i read correct in past threads.
but still excited :P :P :P !!!!!!!

edit: i think i will try to get there a smidge early friday (like 15 min?) if you guys are game to place the sticker on before we roll out. if thats okay of course

I'd still like to see something more official on that. As in something from mazda. I'm not saying it's out of the question, I've just never heard mention of it before this argument started and I think it's odd that mazda wouldn't use that as part of their marketing. If there's some restriction against mazda being able to market it, then I doubt they'd be able to openly say that they use brembo brakes in any form of public relations type thing.

Well, they told me they were shooting for the middle of the week before last to have the car ready, but a few things came up. So, they pushed it back till last week. And again, they had issues. The last thing they were having problems with was getting their mechanic out to check the alignment and such, which didn't get completed in time on Friday. Friday is when I had to head back to Houston since I was leaving on Monday for Japan. I'm in Japan as we speak, so my parents are having to drive the rental back up to san antonio to pick up my car, which I think they are doing tomorrow. I'm guessing they'll let me know how everything came out. I just wish I was there to check everything myself since I'm more likely to notice any issues. Oh well.

I thought we sorted this out already? The brakes are Brembo, Grunge already posted pics of the Brembo logo on the inside of the caliper.

its "DOC" here and im finally going to be home in this weekend from the deployment. How was the state meet??? i wish i coulda gone. I cant wait to put on the parts for the car. I was wondering if any of the guys wanted to help me put the parts on??? I have clear corners, exhaust is on the way, and the hardest thing will be the s-tech springs which i have no idea to put on. Ill be home for 20 days and would love if people could help out with the installs. Please let me know if anyone is down for a mod day. Hope to go to a meet and ride around.

Clear corners take 20 minutes tops. Exhaust is mainly getting the bolts/hangers off. Springs aren't too bad either, but expect it to take an afternoon at least.
