Got my speakers in... I'll probably recruit some help to do the install sometime. Doesn't look too difficult but figure it'll go quicker with some help lol.

Do you guys have torx sets? If not, I think a friend might have a set.

Hate taking her there, its like their (dealer) death can't shake it. But I will still keep her running.
I got my 3rd motor at 96,000. The latest flash is done to the ECU, not the motor. It increases the OMP rate but that in itself has not proven to do anything really. My second motor lasted 74,000 with the increased rates and apex seal wear still killed it (loss of compression and stalling). The S2 Renesis is faulted form a design standpoint and unless you try to extend the life by premixing, it will eventually fail. But if you don't plan on keeping it for many miles then don't worry about it.

That would be awesome to see you turbo-ed but that Turbo won't help you in the driving department :p

You better start saving and make sure you do it right. Going turbo is not for the meek, we are prebuilding an 8 for FI right now so if you need any pointers let me know, I'd be happy to help. I'm glad to see you didn't waste time getting into your 8, that's awesome dude.

Here's the basic install thread I'm basing my stuff off of... is that just a generic silicone sealant that he's using?

no

That guide doesn't have info for the rear deck and I haven't found a DIY for taking the rear deck apart, so just have to kind of figure that out along the way unless I can find information on it.

This car being for sale at this price is just not fair. Why couldn't he have tried selling a few months earlier?

I can't seem to get it right lol. I could almost swear I included the link but I guess I only did the "copy" part of "copy->paste".

Yeah I would love to help, I have done a few turbo installs, some custom and a cybernations kit and a couple of Greddy setups as well as a few subie and EVO upgrades. You just need to make sure you have the time and all the parts. Are you upgrading cooling at the same time? I assume you are are getting the COBB and service from MM? Are you going to run the SOHN adapter?

I need to stop looking at classifieds when I have no money... someone's selling a set of rims that are almost exactly what I was looking at getting.

Talk them down enough where it's ok to put it on a credit card lol. That's like the stupidest thing ever but it's addiction.

Student with no job = no credit card.

If I had a job, I'd have no problem signing over a few future paychecks lol.

edit: plus I'll have enough debt to deal with once I start grad school lol.
