used greddy w/BNR upgrade, cobb AP and a bunch of other random parts for dirt cheap. HE had send me a pic so I know that stuff exists somewhere....lol

 

A good rule of thumb for stuff like that is to have them send a picture with a piece of paper that has their name/user name and the date or something like that. Something to prove that it was in their possession and recently. That doesn't guarantee a perfect transaction, but you'll at least know it's something they have.

 

right, I got several different photos from over the course of the conversation and he seemed like a kid with more money than brains that wrecked his car....geting photos with dates is a good idea duh.

But you can get a hell of a deal on an RX-8 though. Another local guy here that doesn't log on paid $9,000.00 cash for his low mileage mint 04' GT that was a one owner car that was dealer serviced it's whole life. The car is trashed now though
