I did the PayPal claim and as soon as I told him I filed a police report in the 3 cities I thought he lived and called out his 2 aliases he disappeared. Someone posted on my thread that they had talked to him about some parts but they made a smarter decision than i did and didn’t pursue it.
that is inevitably where it all goes....lol....I think I have my engine fund pretty well saved up....just waiting for this one to crap out (but every day it gets better and better...funny how that works out), I get the last of my suspension stuff tomorrow and cat back will be here next Thursday I think. that covers the majority of the "major" buckets I had in my plan, now just "piddly" **** left to go.

Congrats on the exhaust....now only if you were somewhere near and RX8 to put it on

Intro
Was encouraged to introduce myself. I'm fairly new to San Antonio - been about 6 months. This is the 2nd RX8 I have owned among my 17 other cars. You probably won't see it driving around much if at all because I hardly ever drive it, however, if you see a guy on a '11 Specialized mountain bike in the Medical Center area - that's probably me. Please be nice & share the road

With proper rotation a good alignment and no track or auto cross days ones can expect around 15k out of the NT05s. They are about as sticky as I would get to run on the street. Any less tread life then that and I would have different rims to switch out and would then most likely run 17x10s with 285 40s.
I just had a guy compliment the sound of my car and ask if it was cammed. It was kind of cool, until I had to explain that it was actually just a misfire causing the sound.

I get 20-30k out of the pilot sports for about the same price, although they do not handle "quite as well" they are freaking awesome tires

not sure if those are the tires I will choose for my forgestars....but maybe the nitto invo, the one thing I don't like is not being able to "truly" rotate.....if I decide to run a little negative camber then....well shorter life

I think the Invo would be the best fit for your needs. they are meant to take a smidge of negative camber and they would for sure hit your mileage goals.
You can really get all four pilot sports in 265 35 r18 for under $900?

Excellent, that is good to know. I assume you are an "aggressive" driver? I was only thinking about running -1.0 or -1.5ish, so the fact your running -2+ is great news.
