So im cofused here, did Brice HIMSELF do anything wrong to the rx8 community??
I mean yea yea he had a business relationship with scott who seems to have fucked people over we know but what did Brice do?
Because if all hes done is lie about his business ties then why cant this be forgiven? So yes the person he did business with was a bad person but if he didnt do anything to us other than lie then i dont see a huge problem here... Well yes it is a problem to straight up lie to people but thats something that can be forgiven, everybody lies... maybe not about something like this, but we all have lied or still do

He will be under the Microscope for quite sometime even if the owners of this site will allow it(they have different considerations), and I'm sure he is well aware of this.
We all make mistakes and it's all part of the learning process(unless you just happen to be a Sociopath). I'm not saying anyone here is
but if you ever run into one, you will surely know!

Yea I guess so because it seems pretty obvious to me. Mazsport goes bankrupt and his inventory gets bought up by Brice.....Brice then denies involvement with Scott. Scott goes on to tune and manufacture stuff for Brice. Scott's involvement is still denied. Brice has information regarding a "stolen" car and doesn't tell anyone in a timely fashion. Brice gets shafted on kits designed by Scott for MS3. Brice comes clean on shady stuff after getting busted.

I came around and read some of the stuff that was going on with mazsport. yes a lot of people got screwed and I understand the distaste for his actions. i was under the assumption that Brice was somehow affiliated with Scott in some way. Was it wrong to help out a person that stole from members yes but he also kept products that were desired to people around. I do not agree with him flat out denying his involvement but I do think he should be given the chance to unwrong his action with everyone known what indeed was going on. Whether he stays afloat or goes under will be up to him and his customers. I have personally bought from him on a few occasions all have had combo product orders with cost savings. all have shown up fast and with the prosport gauges onbackorder he has kept me up to date.

I hate to say it but 90% of the people on this forum either knew this or suspected this from the get go. No surprise here. I still think brice has provided upstanding service.

I predict everything will be back to normal for Brice after the mods are done bum ******* him for a few more days. It sorta reminds me of that joke I heard in high school:

A lot of those that knew about it, spoke up and others just avoided him and the whole situation. I really wasn't around for the whole scott fiasco but i read up on it and just kept my distance. And I would advise locals to do that same. I try where I can to keep members in general from being screwed over by others on the board. I have even spoken up against a local member that was trying to deceive potential buyers and also speak up where I can to put a stop to the some of the sleezie sellers.
For whatever reason the owners of the board have chosen to keep him as a vendor. Those that choose to continue to do business should do so with the knowledge of what has taken place. And if something bad happens to them, I don't want to see them posting up about how they got screwed, because going forward everyone should know what they are in store for.

I saw it all... was very distrustful at first when fluid immediately emerged on the scene... it was like you could smell it a mile away, but after a couple months and all the reassurances (the constant spamming of reasonable deals didn't help much either) I did buy one item from him.

IMO Brice is desperate to repair his reputation. Why? Because he wants to continue to make money off rx8club and other forums. I would not give my money to anyone desperate enough to sell out their friends and or partners.

People who say "well, he may have helped screw over all these people but he never did it to me" are myopic and lucky.
A man is only as good as his word, and Brice's words have been riddled with lies since he started Race Roots.
People will do what they want, but there is nothing wrong with making sure warning threads like these are accessible to new and old members alike.
Brice, you are a person completely devoid of conscience, I hope one day you realize what you do wrong... but so far, you've shown me nothing to indicate that you will. You are apologetic and contrite, but so is anyone when they are caught and find their lively hood in jeopardy. You have been complicit in the defrauding of dozens of people, you have helped known criminals continue to operate, you have operated your business without a thought for anything other then "how much can i make today" without a care for long term growth.
I have no doubt that you will get through this latest defeat. People like you never go away, you evolve and learn from your mistakes. I'm not saying you will learn to be a better business owner, i'm saying you will learn how to hide your nefarious underbelly better. When you are again selling parts and services on this board I hope that you keep your underhanded dealings to a minimum and inflict as little damage as possible to people putting their trust in you.

Hey chill out, I'm not supporting him, never have, and now never will. I've seen his poor quality **** anywayz, the bs ings spoiler he sold to gregs that would never fit and then didn't refund and his poor fitting kei offic eyelids.
I was just literally curious on what he did to the rx8 community, look at my join date, I haven't been around that long, I just wanted some straight answers on what he's done that's all. I didn't want to hate him without knowing, but Jedi filled me in a little and sent me a link to see more of what he's done

Well, when I can, I will do whatever to help out another member and keep them from getting screwed. I feel like we all should to a degree.
There are a lot of threads that get overlooked so there is a strong possibility that stuff like this gets overlooked. I just hope our new member who ordered without checking gets his stuff (even though he overpaid, but that's his fault).
But, I am glad the forum took charge, because if someone is a valid vendor then we should all be able to receive our products and decent service.
