So, my plans to put in my new engine and this upgrade is not going to happen if it is going to be me turning wrenches (assuming I actually had the upgrade.) For that reason, I have shipped the car off to be put together by someone considerably more capable, in a configuration several notches up over what I originally had in mind.
I will let you know how that turns out.

thanks MM for sticking your neck out and trying to help our community! i found it hard to believe that no one else said that. yes it sucks to be out 2 g's but that was a risk you were willing to take. you really shouldnt bitch that much unless youve done everything else to resolve the issue. it doesnt sound like you have. i would have drove to MMs house and asked WTF? ive only met jeff on one occasion, and this thread isnt stopping me from wanting to give him money for an AP if i cant find a used one. keep doing your thing jeff. unfortunatly nice guys usually dont win!

i will contribute $5 toward getting this issue resolved if others will.
MM's work on this car has benefited a lot of us--you have to admit that. If he is being truthful--which he may be--IDK--then hell all of us have had tough times before.
Hate to see a good guy hurt (OP) and its not right, but it is what it is. MM maybe able to send what he has (like Brettus suggested) and the rest.....well.

Look, I am not suggesting anyone bash jeff (at least not if one does not have a personal reason to do so,) nor completely avoid business with him. I am simply providing information. If asked directly, I would have to council caution.

not that it matters, but the way i see it youre at least 51% at fault. what do you really expect to happen by having 6 pages of bitching ? go get your money and/or your parts. deal with the issue, or you could wait for another 2 years....add in inflation...try and get that too
