Funny how some people want to call a spade a spade only when it suits the personal preference. I'm not the person responsible for this situation continuibg to fester 2.5 years later.

So, you think these kits aren't getting completed because I'm lazy?

Just a bit curious as to what your role in this whole thing is. You have nothing to do with any of this. But you continue to shoot your mouth off.

This is my first post in this thread. Because I have nothing to do with it. So I don't feel a need to add unnecessary chatter about something I have no involvement in.
But I had to say something about your meaningless posts.
Here you are continuously babbling, day after day. And you have nothing to do with this issue. Sounds and looks like a personal vendetta.

Maybe you should start a thread titled "Why I hate Mazdamaniac".

I don't hate him at all. I don't have a roll. I have an opinion, just like yourself. That is the beauty of a free democratic society. What gives him the right to be as snotty, arrogant, or whatever in his replies any more than anyone else? If I had something against him it wouldn't have been a year and half before I started posting "wow" and such and having since ramped it up over time. Sure, sometimes I pop in and stir the pot, but many of my posts are a string of tit for tat replies between MM and myself. I'm not always on the floor doing the tango by myself.

What exactly is your role here? How can you sit back and condone comments like "this thread only serves as my personal amusement" and such? How can you stay quiet as these people continue to state they have no information or communication when they paid in full so long ago? Why is it when the same thing happens to people whom you consider a competitor over much less you are only to happy to join in rather than take this same tact in their thread? Did you have some kind of personal vendetta against them or was your opinion about those situations just as valid then? Even though you had no roll in those situations did you feel the need to speak up and question the intent of those opinions then?

People like MM and me we both give and earn sh-t by the nature of our forum persona here. The key words are "persona here". You know MM personally so you look at his replies with a different light, the same way people who know me personally do the same. Yet you don't seem able to bridge that gap of understanding when you view and judge posts here by someone you don't know personally, like me. I don't hate anyone here regardless of what may get said between us on this forum because I have lived with this understanding for a long, long time. I'm pretty sure I have posted in this very thread that MM is not a bad guy. I have never accused him of being a thief or any such thing. I have recommended people on this forum to him on many an occasion. Should that preclude me from honestly speaking my mind when I see it otherwise?

That said when I f-ck up my viewpoint is that I humbly deserve all the sh-t in the world until I rectify the situation. I don't fight it or act like I am above it. I have lived through this both at work and in my personal situations. In reality I am not expecting any more here than I do from myself. Have you ever seen me whine, complain, or need anyone to come stand up for me when you or anyone else is letting me have it? We both know the answer.

2.5 years later with kits still outstanding, poor or no communication, and a "I don't deserve to be reminded about it" attitude equates to man up and take it in my book. Had there been a general attitude here that nobody was going to give him any more business until it was resolved and otherwise been speaking up about it too I seriously doubt it would have gone on this long, and continue to go on with no real end in sight yet for that matter. Maybe it's time to stop with the enabling excuses. Even Ray had the ***** to say enough already. Why can't you have the same sympathy and understanding towards the people who are not only out of their money for so long but have since even moved on to different vehicles? Yes, what is your role here?

It is a heavy burden to bear, but until the situation is resolved it's his to shoulder in whole no different than me, you, or anyone else who may end up in a similar predicament. End it now by producing the kits and it goes away. Until then it will continue to rot and fester.

While I understand the view that those without a role don't really need to provide input, I think that would defeat the purpose of the thread existing. It is a public forum and the discussions have stayed pretty focused on the issue at hand.

It would be completely different if it had been made clear that things were being worked out, privately, between the parties involved. Unfortunately, nothing has indicated communication or hope of a resolution. As an "open claim", I think it's perfectly acceptable for it to be of public discussion. I think the length of this thread has definitely contributed to the perceptions of the situation and, to an extent, that is the purpose of this forum section. Even in the little off-topic bickering, the responses tell a lot about the parties involved.

edit:^ You are correct that the thread will not simply disappear and discussion may continue, but that "in the moment" emotion will dwindle once a conclusion has been seen.

not for me it won't and while I can't speak for anyone else previous threads have been deleted by the OP. I have even done so myself in past bad guy threads I started.

Otherwise, we all carry the scars we have inflicted on our self.

This has been to long overdue, if i was one of the waiting kits buyer i would have done some legal action on the vendor because im pretty sure that the vendor will do the same if he was the one that got denied any kind of merchandise that he pay in front for so long. This is no way to do business even thought he got screw by supplyers of the kit, hes doing the same to his costumers. Now illl be waiting for MM funny comments

This thread disappears the MOMENT I receive my kit in good order. Period.

The other thread disappeared as it changed it's direction from it's original intent. I have a copy of it if anyone wants to look through it.

It's not really gone. You just can't see it. It could be brought back if need be.

I think the point I was trying to make is that if Jeff is not motivated by this thread because he thinks it's existence would be equally onerous even after my kit is received, then he need not be unmotivated as the thread can be altered as to be either be inaccessable by general readers or locked for reference only. That is to say, to the best of my ability, I will not allow this thread to change tense from "Jeff has taken 2.5 years to deliver THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF PROMISED AND PAID FOR KITS yet has not come through. Be warned." to "Jeff took 2.5 years to deliver THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF PROMISED AND PAID FOR KITS yet has not come through. Be warned."

There is no need to resurrect the older thread.

After my brief dealings as a customer of MMs , I learnt enough to expect that he would come good on this ..........................eventually .
Whilst the time frame is unacceptable , I'm glad that he saw fit to deliver the kits .

I completely agree, but in my mind, the set "eventually" included as a member "a very long time" where "a very long time" was defined as a really ******* long *** time.

Not to diminish your pain, but every moment of that time was a century in my world.
The last two+ years have been Chinese water torture for me and it ain't over yet.

I can see light at the end of the tunnel - hopefully it isn't a train...

I can completely understand, but at least one facet of this cursed gem you fashioned yourself. I am not stating this to berate or even provide as constructive criticism, 'cause I cant imagine you changing. But specifically, your communication plan was to have long periods of NO communication lightly interspersed, Cantor Set-like, with positive words when things looked good on your end. I had much time to make logical evaluations of these limited data. As is my inclination, I began to make hypothetical models against which I tested against the data at hand. It was not difficult to question my original understanding of your gestalt, extracted from the numerous mycterisms so famous on the forum, of that of libertine objectivist. I began form a hypothesis of you as a potentially profligate hedonist, not deliberately deceptive, but content with a making empty promises. It would be, in that case, difficult to distinguish the obvious outcome from that perpetrated by a common thief.

The imminent arrival of the kit destroys that hypothesis, of course.
