Looking at the details, perhaps these are the possibilities.
Just speculation not necessary the case.

1. theboy 62000km+ - Overhaul overdue?

- Engine Oil used
1. theboy shell---> trust rotary oil ---> idetmitsu (Shell and idetmitsu is mineral?)
3. ??? trust rotary oil ---> petronas (Petronas is full mineral)

2. fah HKS air filter , found sand inside engine (Maybe HKS air filter is bad, not the first case of sand found in engine)
3. ??? exhaust + air-filter + oil cooler (What air filter?)

No offense but I think this line is a little misleading.

"Have used trust oil before" doesn't do their engine any good unless they use it all the way.
Trust oil also got many types. Also, sometimes the rotor could already have too much carbon build up to start with from using the wrong oil that it's too late to start using rotary oil.

wangan i think rotary oil is real good. but they are a bit expensive for east malaysian, due to the freight charge and a bit troublesm to get. i remember once i buy 2 from u , and the courier service charge me RM98 for 2 x trust engine oil that is rm400.

my question now will be what is the oil usable / grade for us here. 15w40 mineral give u power, but u can tell the engine is louder and not as smooth. 10 w30 might be too thin which would not protect the engine.

other methods of protecting the engine?

bro, i am not sure what is the problem they wrote in the air filter section. if not mistaken they say something to do with trottle body/af sensor. i might be wrong on what they say, lazy to check back that section, panjang.

If there is carbon build up already like you said, what can we do to check? How do we clean it up? Any tips beside rev it hard? Thanks.
