If can't get rotary oil, next in my mind would be to use motul oil. Seen in their website there's 1 oil meant for use with rx8. 300v or something. Even wood is using motul but the price for motul's oil is definately higher than the standard ones la.

 

Wah... so much happening whilst I was away in Bangkok.. didn't see any RX8's around for the past week man. However I do know they have a club through www.siamspeed.com.

Boy - Did all 3 RX8's that blew engine was bought from the same P.I?

 

Thanks Lenon and CSL, this is quite interesting, it cost less than RM200 and if this really clean up our rotor, I think it is definitely worth to get it here in Malaysia, from the description, all you need is to remove the spark plug and insert the two tube and spray for a couple of second and it will do the job plus add some sort of lubrication and protection.

Has anyone tried it before? Wangan, please share your thoughts.

 

Well, Hi-power Jet G only act as lubrication, almost the same as premix, using water injection system can steam clean it.......

 

Is Motul = 10w30 (full mineral?) Me and theboy are using Idemitsu mineral oil, 10w40... is this ok? not only we need to be extra careful with using synthetic or semi or mineral, we need to be sure now with 10w30 or 10w40 etc.... hmmm...

Motul 300V is full synthetic. Their mineral range should be called something else.
Wood can't be using motul since he just bought 2 bottles of F2 RE yesterday.

But it's GBP18.95 for 2 Litres. Might as well buy rotary oil for RM200 for 5Litres isn't it? Probably it's a lot more expensive in UK.
Since I'm one of the Motul dealers, I'll check see if this oil is really so expensive.

Motul 300V 5w30 oil is RM145 for 2L. That's even more expensive than Trust RE oil. The cheapest is Motul mineral RM50 for 2L.

 

lol, that's one hell of an expensive oil. I was just recommending since theboy said it's hard to source in east msia. anyways, this looks like a "expensive" alternative lol.
