oh i adore macl as a company for their intvention and design but we all bought the rx-8 for some small reason or another because it was rare. the ipod is deffinitly not rare and as for the comptuers, pcs are just more readly available then macs as far as what is out there.

I have used 91 and nothing else. What bugs is that light blinks three time then shuts off so when I take it to the dealer they find nothing wrong.

the ipod is the first and only apple consumer product that has done exceptionally well. in apple's core business, which is making personal computers, they have always only held less than 5% market share... LESS THAN 5%.
so, my question is... they FINALLY make one break-through, commercially viable consumer product that people actually like and want to buy. and, everyone (all the apple haters) starts bashing them for its success? what kind of warped, twisted logic is that? i don't understand this mentality, and i never will.

who is bashing them, most products that come out get the same review: good bad aweful and great i think more is focused on this becaue it is apple...i.e. same with the paris hilton case, dare i bring it up.

I was sorta complaining about the ipod's popularity, and someone mentioned they hate the ipod.

Apple marketing people are geniuses. They promoted the iPod so much, and got so many 3rd party companies to make add-on items for it, that they dominated the market.
When the 20gb plain iPod was still well over $250, I paid $200 for a 40gb mp3 player that can record/play any audio files/play video/ view pictures/view text files/ play games/and is a portable hard-drive.
I bought it 1year before the ipod video was even released.
Yet, it's not the biggest seller because Apple is better at marketing.
The iPhone is not nearly as good as the phone I currently own, and my phone is almost 2years old.
There are a couple new phones coming out, that are much better/cheaper than the iPhone, but most people will never hear about them, or try them.
Because...

...To put it in perspective, the iPhone becoming one of the top selling phones (which it will) is like the Crossfire becoming the best selling car in the US.
People who bought Crossfires, didn't do their homework.
And people who don't do their homework, buy iPhones.

oh i read it, but everyone is entitlted their opinions. thing is i heard it was doomed long before it was to be released. not to mentioned people are on these boards soeem tiem to voice their opinion weather it be flaming or not.
i worked in retail and one important thing that was discuessed was one negative comment/bad customer goes a lot farther then positive comments, which are less likeyl spread and rarely heard...not sure who that fits in btu it seems approiate.
come on in Casey Jump Right Inn you are in the Tech wagon as well, the water is great!

I think that the I phone brings something to the table that smartphones do have in the market today. What I do not like about the I phone is the touch screenwith no keypad. For me the keypad and no touch screen is better then no key pad at all.
I love Apple's I think there is a whole lot that PC could learn from them.

just wanted to drop by and let you guys know i'm still alive, lol.
umm....oh yea, i bought a car. nothing special, just a nearly fully loaded (no nav system) 2000 v6 2dr. honda accord. i would have purchased another 8, but i can't right now. i'll put pix up when i take some pix.

Quick question: you got a copy of Nero lying around? For some reason every time I use mine, it crashes and gives me an error. Only way it works is to use it under the "Nero Express" mode.

@ jedi: do you want Nero 6 ultimate, or Nero 7 Ultimate? If you want Nero 7, we have to meet up somewhere. I work out in Brea (EVGA Head Quarters 
), so we can meet up after i get off work if you'd like. Or even during the weekend. If you want Nero 6, we can set up a transfer over MSN or something. the files are small enough to be done so.
