it's a few of us going to tri state.

 

regular SB meet is still a GO, just 3 of us going out to Havasu this weekend

 

There is always a san berdo meet unless speed or vipers says there isnt (or its December sometimes). I am still undecided since i need to ride my bike this weekend and sunday i will be going to UCLA area.

No C4 in the game, but it could fit on one of the Puegot 207s....or maybe the SEAT download car.

 

I'll be there, I know Vipers will be there, some of the RX-7 guys will be there.

 

the more i think about it the more i might go to the meet since i will not be able to make the november meet for sure. but i am unsrue if i will do the cruise.

well, it could be plugged into a safety outlet. (those have a breaker on the outlet panel that cut electricity flow when the load changes.)

weekend has been a blast! got started on a bad note though because Cesar got pulled over! I thought the cop was going to pull us all over but decided to pick on just Cesar. we're finishing up Margaritas and dinner, bout to hit the go karting track. Shake and Bake time! !!

I was supposed to have someone dropping off an engine. But it looks like it will be happening tomorrow.

Actually, Toyota is very simple in their nameing of engines.
4 - 4th generation of the
A - line up of motors
- - a dash seperates the engine from the specifics
G - wide angle valves, performance motor
Z - supercharger. t would be turbo charger
E - electronic fuel injection.

In an MR2
M- midship
R - runabout
2 - two seater


The Z motor was only in the U.S in 1988 and 89. They are hard to come by. So the Japanese imports are more readily available, but they can not pass smog.
This particular car came with the AFM & MAP sensor. The MAP is better for tuning purpose, but will not pass smog. I had to purchase a USDM ECU, So the AFM with the stock ECU will get this puppy smogged and registered. The J-spec ECU with the MAP and a new supercharger pulley should get about 175HP at the crank. If 150HP make it to the wheels . . . . I got me a dedicated track car with some serious performance

Does anyone know why I cannot fill the tv screen when watching a blue ray disc on my ps3? I tried adjusting the screen mode on my widescreen tv, but no matter what screen option (Zoom, Wide zoom, Full) I still get 2 damn black bars top & bottom.

Any ideas?

 

i felt sick all last night and this morning, so i bailed on the meet.. i really wanted to go, but worried about needing to bring a doggybag with me lol.... the blue thing was an rx-v8

 

apparently doing 115 mph in a 75 mph zone is frowned upon here in AZ.
Cesar's been riding with Emilie and I all weekend, we can't get his car back till Tuesday.

Unrelated, we're happy to finally get a lightning yellow 8 at the 626 meet yesterday. . (I still wish I had gotten a LY sometimes...). I think other than Nordic green, we got all the colors...
