OK OK I had a little too much last night, and when my alarm went off this morning I pretty much feel the same. Wow, what a punk I am, I was all excited and and I dont even show. Hope you all were safe and had a Happy New Year.

There was no way I could make a 10am meet this morning after having a neighborhood New Years party last night. If there had been a firm plan about lunch I'd love to meet up with everyone.

Sorry about the fluid lunch plans Poolside (Oops... sorry... poor choice of words). Anyway, those who showed had a great time IMO. The drive was great and our post drive lunch and karting at F1 proved to be a ton of fun as well. I even finished in second place karting as Brian Jackson edged me out by about .02. The weather was great on top of South Mountain so we spent the better part of an hour on top shooting the breeze and watching a couple people prepare their parasails and hang gliders for flight off the back side of the mountain.
Post lunch and racing we gave out a few door prizes and I took Boxcar for a little drifting exhibition in my FD . Thank goodness their was no damage done, but it required quite a bit of EXTRA steering input to keep her on the road .
Anyway, need to be a little more careful now that my power is UP as traction has decreased .
Hope you all had a great NYD!!!

That was one hell of a start to a new year. Especially getting the chance to ride in that little yellow beauty I've been eyeing for over a year now. I still can't get the smile off my face. Thanks again RCCAZ 1!

Sent out to RCCAZ club members this afternoon. Wanna play this weekend??
*********************************
As you may already know, this Saturday is traditionally the LARGEST single day attendance all year at the Scottsdale Pavillions. Parking slots will start filling early in the morning and will most likely be taken by early afternoon. You'll see many cars there this Saturday that you might only see once or twice during the year as people bring out rare hardware in hopes of a SALE at the event.
I’m planning to head over around 2 pm to find a place to park. I’ll check in our traditional spot first (down Home Depot row), however if the McDonald’s side of the street is PACKED, I plan to head across the street and park near 5-N-Diner. Anyone else up for some over the top Saturday afternoon Pavillions action??
