The Raceway Photo shoot :)

Here's the shots I was so excited to share. I like pics number 1 and 2 the best (2 would be my favorite).

Casey posted a list of upcoming events on a page about 4 or 5 pages back. This was the first one Snowfl8k and I went to. It was a frickin blast. Wasn't too impressive to watch. The cars looked like they were moving so slow...but just wait until you go on a ride...not slow at all

Just an idea after seeing the Fed Ex photoshoot but maybe the Rancho and surrounding area guys can go for a photoshoot some time. Top of the Edwards parking structure in Montclair or maybe somewhere else in the area. Any ideas...Circle should be getting his car back soon as well.
I think that's an awesome idea Lesper. I will have to keep an eye out for good photo opportunities around the area...... count me in

Sure, a photoshoot sounds pretty nice! I really need to get myself another digital camera... =\

And I also really need to go to a SCCA track day one day. Do I have to get some sort of special license or training before heading off to the track?

I have bad expiriences with spinning out...

Jeez, you're really making it sound so much fun though.
I'm guess you mean a racing permit? If so... how do I get one?

Neat pictures. I agree with that Eclipse kinda messing up that group shot... Unless of course it was rotary power?!

Maybe me and Snowfl8k should get the same stickers and stuff to look like twins too?! What do you think snowfl8k?! Hahaha ^^

I spun out, did a full 360, that was fun.
And no, not a racing permit.
If you're 15 1/2 years old and have a driving permit, you can race at a Solo2 practice event. Of course, you'd need an adult w/ you. But, that doesn't apply to you, you're licensed, so you can drive at any Solo event.

thanks for taking that one cesar.

Kevin, yes that would be just fine.

everyone else..... If you are interested in puting a ROTORLUTION decal on your windshield to look like we all belong together for seven stock please get with me ASAP. Prices are as follows:

white with no backround... FREE!!!!
any normal color with no backround $10
norman colors with normal backround $20

by normal color i mean Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, White, Purple..... ect.
A specialty color is somehting like Metalic blue or Carbon fiber. (both mine and Cesars car have specialty colors) if you are interested in a special color we can work that out when we do it.)

of course you are welcome to pull them off after seven stock (after all it is your car) and if you plan on pulling them off then i would suggest a white one that is free.

O of course have one that is staying on, Vipers and Cesar both have one that is staying on. Kwescott and Snowfl8k i belive are going to get some that they plan on leaving on (correct me if i am wrong.) I spoke with Spice boy today, and i belive he said he was going to come get one put on.scotty305 i belive is going to get one put on. i think i even heard him say he was going to keep it on.... :D

If you dont want to put one on, then of course i understand that to. I just want to give you all the option.

anyways, talk to you all later.

Cooool... I'm up for that banner thing! I'm thinking about it... and I don't know if I should get the white with no background for free or a black with white background. What do you guys think?
I most likely will leave mine on (probably cuz I'll be too lazy to take them off).
Is the decal on a transfer sheet?
This sounds like fun ^^

A metalic red would be a great possibility. Question 1: How easy do they come off? Question 2: If we are to put them on when, where and how?

The banners come off pretty easy. You peel up the vinyl with a razor blade or your fingers when you get it peeled back a little. After peeling all the vinyl off you go over the entire residue with a little soapy water and your razor blade lightly. Then Walla It's done. Pretty easy! It's a little time consuming but nothing bad.

If you want a banner you just have to give us a call and you can stop by our house so we can put the banner on for you. Just call us the night before you want to come by so we can cut it for you.

The colors we have are red, blue, bright blue, green, silver, pink, purple and black.
The special colors that we have are metallic blue, metallic purple, metallic silver and then carbon fiber.

If there are any other colors that you want that we don’t have let us know and I’ll go down and try to find it. Just give me a little notice.

Hi SnowFl8k I just looked up the date for the class and it's Nov. 26th. They haven’t opened sign ups yet so I don't have the amount. I hope you can make it that day it would be nice to have a partner in crime at the class. Hopefully we can get good and beat these guys that think they are getting good. Thats if I don't get lost on the track :p So it might actually be up to you

the guy in the third gen has done lots of auto crossing, he doesnt push to hard on the street (as well as myself) due to the fact that its just not worth it to push 100% on the street. we knew we were going to take it to the track the next day. we do the runs more for fun then trying to go as fast as we can.

we also have Chrome..... thats all i can think of for now.

the white i hav eis not quite the same as the white on the car (the car is a pearl white) so i would just go with a white banner, and maybe a black backround.... thats what i would do. or bring the car and i will see if i can get a pearl white.

also i do not have a metalic red, but same thing, if you could bring your car over then i can see if we can go pickup some red that matches.

Edit, for those of you that would want a color that i dont have, iyou should come over in the next few days, so that i can try to get the color in time. for the rest of you, i would try to come over in the next week or two. i dont really want to do everything on the last day or two.

yeah.. i sensed that. i was asking because i wanted to get a feel of how the 8 compares to the 7 on a twisty road as opposed the beaten to death topic of how slow we are in a streight line vs a 7.

RX-7 Crash

It's not major, but it still hurts to see such a beautiful 3rd Gen hit.

Especially when it's the best color.

Not sure what he was watching, but definately not THE LARGE FUEL TRUCK approaching.

BTW - If you're using a computer, you may want to right-click on the link and select save as, but if you're on a Mac, go to a friend's house that has a computer. :D
