that usually depends on the meet. I usually just show up for the meet since it is so close to me. but a lot of the Rancho and Fontana guys meet up for breakfast first. ill let one of them tell you. :D

Cesar you need to come over in the next couple days for your banner. call me when you get a chance.

3 or 4 8's show up. I think 6 was the most we've had show up at Farmer Boys.
Most of the drivers are going solo, so it's about 3-5 people.

As far as the meet, the most cars has been 18 and about 24 people.

It's usually myself, Snowfl8k, Riccio and Cesaralaniz at Farmer Boys. KazieKave used to show, but found Starbucks instead . Small group, but its nice to have a slow start to the morning. There is always so much going on at the meets, as well as the run/drive, especially on your first meet. I know I was scrambling around my first meet, trying to see what everyone has done to there cars, trying to remember who was who, and not feeling like I was getting in the way. The breakfast is a way of "slowly introducing" yourself to the group.

Now, if I could only get away from ordering the same damn thing every month...but its sorta like I get that taste in my mouth the night before, so getting something else wouldn't feed the craving the same way.

On another more serious note, haven't heard from Riccio in awhile. Not since the San Gabriel June meet. Starting to get Titanium MS kit withdrawals. Everything ok Riccio? I do realize that you are mostly a "reader", and not a "poster"...Snowfl8k is the same way....but would be nice to know things are ok and if we might see you at breakfast....?

Should I take offense to that last comment? Afterall, maybe I could post more if my computer were actually available more often 8O

Oh! and by the way Ceasar - you "guessed" my new mod. But seriously, did Kwescott tell you or have you seen me parked somewhere?

No one told me, and I didn't see you anywhere.

My days of watching Magnum P.I. led me to "sohcpunk". :p

Finally picked up our Warrior

If you guys recall from the pics I posted of our trip to China, one of the locations we visited was the Tombs where they discovered the army of Terra Cota Warriors. We bought a full size replica.

Well, had to go down to Compton today to pick it up from a warehouse. It was over 500 pounds, took us an hour to separate it from its crate (which was filled with liquid foam)...and took three neighbors to move it in the house. Don't know where it is going to go, so now it stands in the middle of the entry hall. It ahs already scared us a couple of times, as we get startled thinking there is a huge man in the hallway. Cats don't like it much either.

Well I dropped my 8 for at Romero to get the insulator / gas tank problem fixed. Hoopefully it will be done before the meet, they have to keep it at least a day to fix the problem because they are backed up. I have a P.O.S. rent a car right now. I should be able to make the meet but not sure if i will be doing the run. I have some errands and have to be back in Pomona by 2 (and gas prices). I look forwards to all the new faces and mods. It will be my first meet in San Berdo for 3 months. Looking forward to Saturday!! :D

no run? >_<

if we dont do a run... i dont think i'll come to the meet... because to get out to San Berdoo takes me down a quarter of a tank... which is worth it for a arun... but not worth it for a meet...

get it?

lets do a run?
