I just noticed there was I typ-o. I fixed it.

I should have wrote, "The 4-7-05 is the date it was updated, not the date of the meet. The info seems complete to me."

I had 'the' in there twice and forgot the word 'not'. Anyways, you guys get the idea.

I want in on the tinting, if it's OK that I don't have an 8. When is it, and do they have ceramic film?

I also need to have my Company car tinted (Mazda6 Sportwagon) - if it helps the group get a better rate, I'm sure I can join in too.

What are the details?

And to Scotty: I have the ceramic tint in my RX8 - more expensive. Went with "regular" but high quality tint in my MB 95 FD, and it seems just as good. As long as the shop gives you a good warranty, I'm not sure I would spend the extra on ceramic tint again.

I want my '94 RX-7 tinted, with whatever has the best heat rejection but will let me see at night. I've had metal film before, and it was fine. Thanks for the advice Riccio.

If they can do metallic film for less than $100, I'll bring my '89 Acura also.

In case I don't check here often, can you please PM me when you decide on a date?

Grab a Partner and GO!!!!

Okay, so the tinting is on. They prefer us to go in groups of 2, so they dont get backed up with 6 cars all at once.

So, I'm leaving it up to you guys to get into groups of 2 or 3 and head down to the tinting shop. any day during the week of July 25 except Tuesday.

The Discounted Rate Is: $169 per car

The Place is: Windshields of Cucamonga 8220 Masi Dr, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 (just North of the Quakes Stadium)
Phone: (909) 989-8995

The Time: The Week of July 25 (Exluding Tuesday)

The Tip(s) is/are: Mention "RX-8 group deal $169/car, sport tint" - Go in Groups, or go solo.

Lesper4 and KrazieKave (me) are going on Wednesday.

so, choose your day... and choose your partner wisely, and let the Tinting Extravangaza Begin!

any questions, PM me, talk in here, or call me at work- (909) 944-4009 ask for Kevin.

Scotty, thanks for the good times this weekend, MeShell and myself had a GREAT time at the solo2 event! we WILL be back.

Krazie, i dont mean to step on any toes, but isnt 169 kinda high? that does not seem to be a deal at all. maybe i am wrong, but just wanted to mention that.

Raz, i went into the speedway to say hi but you were not there. i saw your car int he garage with the hood up and the trunk open. but you were no ware to be found.

I drove past the Auto x a couple of times when I had to get gas.

Finally my friend showed up. His kids wanted to see the drag racing. I saw 3 of you come back from your lunch break.

Can't afford to drive over there to see you. Car needs to cool between sessions.

Yeah.. 169 is a bit high. I think I'll just head over to Chino where my friend did his integra for under 150. ^^

Just a heads up... Ordering my GReddy SP2 system this week! I'm super excited :D

$169 sounds OK to me, assuming they do good work and use quality film. I paid nearly $300 for HP Quantum film on my Impreza about 3 years ago, and it really made a difference in temperatures.

I can be there any time on Friday.

tinting

Ok Scotty I will go Friday with my wifes car. So that makes Friday and Wedensday fiiled up. As for the price I paid around $180 after tax for my car 8 years ago and it was lifetime as well. So $169 isn't bad at all especially for the time.

Krazie either you or me should call the tint shop to let them know who is coiming and on what days?

for quality tint and a lifetime warranty, i think $169 is a deal... compared to the prices of other places around here.

your right i am sorry. i dont know what i was thinking. i paid $220 for my tint (with the design in the back window, and the front brow.) for some reason i was thinking $120. i had a momentary brain fart. you will have to excuse me. :D
