Hmmmm, I think we have a chameleon in our group. I wonder what you've done with the "Yellow" portion of your 8 ......vinyl, paint, graffics....

speaking of personalized plates..I finally got around to making my decision.

I had three in the running..."PSYCOT8" "PSYCHO_8" and "RX Z88M"

All the psycho references were because of my job...psychologist and all, thought it would be funny. :o

 

well... i would if i could figure out how to shrink the file size ti get it that small to fit... help me?

krazie, i can help, give me a picture that you want resized, and i will resize it.

 

I put mine into MS Paint and save it as a MS paint Jpeg. This lowers the file size a little...if you need more, I then shrink it under the "Image" ... "shrink/skew" usually shrinking by 75% usually works.

Cesar, I was walking around the neighborhood when this yellow 8 drives by me quickly and pulls into a neighborhood about two blocks up. I thought to myself...ahh hah, I found Cesar and I'm gonna get to see what you did to your car prior to our meet this Saturday. I was getting excited, but then when I walked around the corner, only saw hundreds of houses, but no yellow 8. I figured, oh well, he must be parked in the garage and I'll just have to wait.

But then as I was about to give up, I saw it, the yellow 8. As I walked closer I could see that there was something different...with the wheels. I was right, I thought, Cesar got new rims. I was feeling pleased with myself, and was feeling a little proud/excited for you. But I was truely dissapointed when it was just chromed stock wheels (no offense Riccio..I do like chromed stocks..but Cesar had spoken so enthusiastically about these black Falkens)...but, back to the story (because I know how much Krazie enjoys my long stories ).....

Was this Cesar's car....it was parked backwards into the driveway, so I couldn't look for the liscence plate. But as I was walking to see the rear, I realized that the calipers weren't painted yellow. Silly Cesar, you are good. Going out and buying that decoy yellow 8....good one..you fooled me this time. Fool me once, shame on you....fool me twice before Saturday....damn it.

On a related note, we really should get those "club" cards made. I could have made us a new friend...and a third mustard to go with our ketchups.

I hope you enjoyed the story...as you can tell, I'm starting to get excited again. Some new toys to check out this meet, a baseball game, a cruise....who hooo.

decoy or not, this is what I'm thinking now. I am getting a sick feeling in my stomache that something happened to Cesar's yellow...all this talking in the past tense makes me think that it is no longer in the land of the living. Accident? Totaled? I'm thinking that Cesar used his insurance money to get a new 8. Say it aint so.

 

Maybe Jill can let us know what is allowed/not allowed there. I know she said that there was a BarBQue area...I guess I'm treating this like a trip to Dodger stadium, where you're not allowed to bring anything....

Bringing your own meat, and then something to share would be cool...like a potato or macaroni salad....it would be good to know how many to buy for though.

 

I went with her last year. I'm pretty sure they won't allow us to bring our own stuff.
It's just like a trip to Dodger stadium, w/o the traffic, w/o the long lines, and with good players. :p
