Wow Keith, interesting look on those rear tail lights. Not sure if I like them but never hurts to try something new.

Lesper: GREAT pics! I can't figure out which one is PhotoChopped...you're getting too good at this.

Keith.... now that you have the dents out, you need to wax your car. I can see the swirls in the pictures.

Yes....ZAINO TIME!!! Keith: didn't you tell me once that you've never had your car waxed??

Cesar: Speaking of all this wax....when do you want to set aside some time to Zaino your car? Maybe Keith can swing by and if he's nice enough we'll even help him with his...

i think mine needs a ziano and clay bar as well since it has never been done and i wash it at those power hand car washes. let make it a water party!! before it cools off too much.

The frist pic in set 2 is photoshoped and from different angles. in one the car were too light and another the interior was too dark, look and you should be able to see it because some line do not match up.

Cesar i think i will order the trunk stuff friday and have it delievered to my work, the best we can do is save on shipping. the best price is see is $55 unless you can do better?

Ok I gotta chime in here.
WARNING!!! The following is not suitable for small children or car lovers.
I was over at Keith's house last Friday. He was going to wash his car.
He fills a bucket w/ water and DISH SOAP!!!
Then after he washes his car, he proceeds to dry it w/ a starchy beach towel the equivalent of 400 grit sand paper.

We definitely need to get Keith a full Zaino treatment.

As far as my car, I bought some claybar to remove the cone marks from autocross.
Turns out it's a lot easier than I thought.
I'll talk to you more about what I need to buy in order to do everything.
Look for my post later today in your Zaino thread.

I just want it done before SS9. FYI - Zaino kit is not cheap.

OK - It took awhile to find that part. You need to look at the steering wheel where it meets the door in the 1st pic group 2.

I don't know where else to get it for cheaper. That's fine w/ me. Let me know when you want the money.

Hey Jess,

My Mom wanted an outdoor auto canvass for her mini-van to keep the tree sap & sunlight off it. So, on Sunday afternoon I went to Pep Boys and bought a 20' x 10' (8 leg) one for $80 bucks ($100 - $20 rebate). They have several models/ sizes on-sale to pick from. It took my brother-in-law & I about an hour or so to get it installed and anchored. But, I think it's a good alternative to a garage, and it allows you to work in the shade. So, you might want to go check it out.

I've never Zaino'd or waxed my car either, but would like to participate if you guys are planning on this. So, keep me posted.

Also, Jun has been nice enough to offer to help take a look at the cloud/ swirl paint damage to my hood/ front bumper this weekend. So, hopefully we'll find out what's up with this. And, I'll report back after he gets a chance to work his magic. (I like the nose mask, but honestly would prefer to not have to have it on all the time.)

Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit
This is what I recommend to everyone who wants to start using Zaino. Down the road, you can always invest in the Ultimate Protection Show Car Kit

I clayed and waxed my car about a year and a half ago... I am due again. I baught a clay kit a few weeks ago, just have not done it yet. will try to do it before seven stock. on yellow it does not make a huge differance, but black it makes a HUGE differance.

as for the dish soap, yeah I know he uses dish soap. didnt any one ever tell him that this strips away any wax he might have had. (even though he doesnt have any) no more dish soap once you wash wax your car keith. I will buy you some car wash soap and a shamii.

I like to use my Mr. clean auto dry car wash. not only do I not need to rub a towel on my paint to dry it, but the soap is pretty mild to. as long as the filter is in good shape the mr clean does a very nice job! I love it.

now for a more detailed clean I like to use a good on owel as the auto dry does not clean the door jams, or under the trunk, or under the fuel door.... ect. but for a "get it to look good for now" clean, it works great.

Question for Casey, Cesar and Loren:

Since you guys either have (or are getting) stereo system upgrades in your cars, do you have a JL CleanSweep or LC6 installed in your car? If so, does it make a big difference, worth it?

(tipping my hand to you guys as to my new mod....)

Those componets are only for those of have bose systems and after market stereos, Cesar had one but no longer uses it. I was looking to the Audio Control becasue it is cheaper then the JL and Alpine units. I too would like more information on this. The LC6i has a equailizer built into it (i think) and is the same price as the LC6.

By stereos do you mean aftermarket speakers? I'm planning on leaving the Mazda headunit and Bose amp in the car. I'm so confused....
It was so much easier to put a whole new system in my last car....

I don't need one. I have an aftermarket headunit w/ pre-amp outputs.
Loren is going to use the LC6. He hasn't installed his stuff yet.
From what I've read, the LC6 is awesome, the Cleansweep seems even better than the LC6.
But, like I've mentioned before, I'm hooked on JL Audio so I'm probably not the one to ask.
The Cleansweep is only $160 on ebay, opened but not used.

There's a LC6 for $110 new.
