Correct me if i am wrong but some determing factors of the price of innsurance is the number of doors and seats and also the turbo...so whats up with the IS300 and the Jag XJ. Sine they dont have either one of those?
PS i might be out on Saturday if i get my stuff done in time, is it a pratice or full on event?

Loren, those Volks are pricey....but gorgeous. Of course I think either one would be beautiful. As for blacked out lights....I'm not into them.
The Buddy Clubs I posted are reasonably priced.....got to get you to Vegas and the Keno games

should be a big group for the autocross today if anyone is interested in coming down to watch. We can't have passengers, but you can still stay in the grid and see how we do. We are racing after lunch....probably around 1:00...maybe earlier. Casey, Mischelle, Erica and I will be down there to do the couurse walk, register at lunch. (11:30-11:45).
we are at the Fontana Speedway.

It's only a pain w/ the wrong tools. I have a flexible extention. Piece of Cake. I've removed it about 6 times on 4 different vehicles.

I think I'll have a party with cake and icecream. First course, magical blue cake ....yum, yum, yum....hey, why is my poop green .
Here's some pics of my "time attack" Enkeis.

here you go casey... the owner of the vert 1st gen responded... heres what he pm'd me
The vin FB was only used in the USA. Everywhere else in the world continued using the SA22 designation when the US switched to the 17 digit vin system in 1981. Outside the USA the models were generally called SA series 1[SA], series 2[FB 82-3] and series 3[FB 84-85]. Thus, all the Gen 1s with the 12AT, about 800 cars, were Japanese SA 22 84 and 85 models [optional engine on the GT, GT-X and SE-Ltd, and all cars of the special run Ltd Version].
Mazda Australia hand built six 85 model RX-7 convertibles. It was a special run authorised by the road traffic authority of up to 20 per year. Mazda Japan were unhappy so no more were built as the FC convertible was in the design stage. The roof was cut off with a Mazda 626 trunk lid used to fill the gap. Two steel U channels were bolted/welded underneath, plus extra steel work around the firewall and rear wheel arches to give rigidity. The engine installed in the first five off the line was the 115hp 12A 6p, however mine got the 12AT 145hp since upgraded to 220rwhp[about 250hp].
so she is an authentic vert 1st gen....

Vipers, Hmm... cool... but did I miss it, or did he not say that it was a U.S. vert Turbo??? sounds to me like it was an Ausi car.
Vipers is having problems getting the clutch to engage. he pulled the engine back out to take a look. I think its going to have something to do with the flywheel. either theat or the throw out bearing.

he did put on a new throw out bearing when we mated up the transmission and engine. I recalled him having problems with the fork upon first mating....I think it slipped off or something. He seemed to fix the problem upon putting it together on the second attempt. Could this be the problem?
