You need a line-out converter like the LC6 or Cleansweep if your radio does not have a pre-amp output.
If you're keeping the headunit, you need to use something.
Before I fried my headunit, I used a $20 passive LOC. I was planning on upgrading to the LC6 or cleansweep, but when it fried, that was no longer necessary, since I changed the headunit.
The line-out converter is going to provide a signal by way of RCA plugs that you can connect to your amp.
In the audio section, forbidden heavily endorses the LC6. He's a pro, so I'm sure it would be the best route if you're keeping the headunit.

Jessie, I was trying to get some pics of my hands last night, but couldn't zoom in close enough to post any....cause they are really f'd up from that darn purple junk we were using to clean all those engine parts. Almost like a chemical burn, or really bad sun burn on the palm of my hands. They feel like plastic and are hard to bend. I'm wondering if Rodney is having the same problem. I would highly suggest rubber gloves next time around.
oh, and the P5 action shots...yes, very cool.
