congrats on the short shifter Michael. You really have to do the install on that yourself. There is a DIY that will walk you through it...shouldn't take you any longer thqan 30 minutes.
Now get that dash kit....

Good lookin out Lesper.
I considered it when I first bought the car, but after reading several post on how a car covers are only recommended for long-term parking, right after a car wash, I decided not to get one.
The threads I read mentioned the small dust that collects on your car sticks to the inside of the covers, and acts as sand paper when you're putting it on, or taking it off.
They're probably good for the colder regions where people store cars for the winter.
Thanks for considering us though.

I have the Mazda car cover and it actually fits with my MS wing and appearance pkg. Speed, the only thing is it doesn't come all the way down on the rear. (you can see part of the exhaust tips....kinnda looks cool)
Cesar: That's sort of correct. This cover definitely shouldn't be used if your car is dirty (like ALL covers) and is probably not the greatest for day to day use simply for the fact that it is tight fitting and might be a PITA to put on every day.
If the guy sells it for a good price, might still be worth looking into for ya Speed.
Speed: My RX-8 has been in the garage all week with the car cover on. I can take some pics of it tonight if you want me to.

no its cool. I know what they look like... they are pretty cool.
but as you said, for someone that drives their car everyday, it would be a pita. I have a cover now, and I dont even use it.
good lookin out though.

Really? I use my car cover just about every night because it's parked out on the street. Of course I do wash my car evey week. No scratches yet.

If you're really considering doing this with us, you may want to register for a Cal Club card, so you can preregister online and not miss out....
But, how would this work with your job, you wouldn't be able to take off a Sunday a month, would you? Unless you run in the group before lunch, you may be able to finish and get to work on time.
I have no clue what class a P5 goes in....but since you changed your shocks/springs, and have an intake....you wouldn't be in stock class. So, you would probably be in SP....I'm guessing like DSP....or maybe even STX.
yah, this is sorta true.
however, it's still a judgement call sometimes. if u put the cover on carefully, i think it's still better than having WASH ME PLEASE fingered on by the grimey hands of ******** who walk around with nothing better to do. on dark-colored cars, they do it not just on the windows sometimes, but to the body of the car as well... <shrugs>
hopefully someday they'll have electro-magnetic force fields for car alarms- that will create a perimeter around your car and zapping anything that comes too close to it. kinda star wars-esq. but, we might be all dead by then, so it wont' matter.

looks like the P5 would be in STS (work 5 run 7)
that would not work for Jesse, as he is going to the same BBQ as me after lunch.
sorry Jesse. :/
