Well I am back in town and REALLY shitty morning for me! Went to go pick up Kasumi and Metro installed my side skirts ******* BACKWARDS!!! Not only that, they sagged in the middle, the color match for the spoiler and trunk are fine but the flake is a **** ton smaller and NONE of the touch up to the front that was supposed to happen, happened.

Welcome back Chun, your car looks like ****! I have new holes up in my front wheel well from the backwards side skirts and they couldn't even use matching bolts all around?!? Seriously?!? I have black bolts on the bottom of the skirts and chrome up top. NOT ******* KIDDING!!!

 

Dam, they did a good job on my car and I figured they could do yours as well. Sorry I recommended them. You saw my car and know that they did do a good job here.

Are they going to fix it? I would hope so.......Mine is in there for work now.

 

They're working on her right now. I am supposed to go back in a few hours to grab her but I am not super confident. They did do a great job on your car... too bad I didn't get the same service.

The world has not ended, all is better. The side skirts are back on correctly and there are no new holes to speak of in the front wheel wells. The bulk of everything was the trunk and the spoiler which was all done really well. In the sunlight I could tell a lot better. I would have liked everything else as far as touch up to be a little nicer and the remounting of the side skirts to have better adhesion but I got what I paid for.

Now I just want to repaint the rest of the car though... Oh well... maybe someday.

I did not get to see the backwards placement of the side skirts but did see the outcome. The only thing I did not like was the bolts not matching exactly or being painted to match. Chun elected not to let them touch up the bolts.

I think that at first glance, in the shop with shadows, that Chun could not see that the paint matched very well. I guess you could count the flake from the new to the old and maybe the new had more but in the sun it looked very good. That is always the problem with painting one area.......getting the paint to match perfectly.

Overall Chun's car looked very good to me and OH I LOVE THAT NEW WING. Now all we need is some help installing the new transmission in Chun's car at my house on Saturday.

Got to see mine before the paint......all of the little dents and the big one in the door, are gone even that little on in the hood that no one could see but me. Now if I can just keep it that way until after Seven Stock! I am kinda hoping to see my completed 8 by late Friday but I will not push them.....let every thing dry correctly.

 

while there is not a large number of cars heading to sevenstock there surely will be quality cars

Chun, when your doing the new art work, could you please change the rotor drawing to reflect SCR along with Vegas 8s and ether remove the date or update it also.

Not yet sure if we are going to do the mugs again but the rotor is nice for other items also. Oh, don't forget to see if we can con a helper for the tranny exchange. I will be needing some help soon changing my mid pipe.

 

No problem on the Art Work incorporating SCR. I don't really have a good idea what to do yet for the new WHIV logo but I will start all of it together. As for the tranny this weekend, I'll see what I can do to get helpers.

 

I got an idea but of course would be over complicated lol

 

Then I don't want to know what your idea is.... cuz if it is involving more than 1 car that I have to create and stylize then I don't want to hear it!!!
