Phil, both Catalan (Chris) and DaGr8 (Brandon) said they would help out Saturday morning. I am really hoping we can figure out install because it's not complicated but it is specific. We also need to get Catalan's brakes done if he is ready.
don't forget to avoid pinching the O2 sensor wire
consider done ... you won't hear it .. heaven forbid part of the concept would have sounded good to you and could have came up with something incorporating some of it ... I thought it was called brain storming .... but I got the hint am shutting up ,,i,

We need to get little Phil over there to, he did his own tranny removal and should remember how he did it.......With all this talent we should be able to get it all done. Little Phil, if you come bring your jack stands so we can get both cars up off the ground. Time permitting we may even get Little Phil's clutch pedal changed.

I did not get to see the backwards placement of the side skirts but did see the outcome. The only thing I did not like was the bolts not matching exactly or being painted to match. Chun elected not to let them touch up the bolts.
I think that at first glance, in the shop with shadows, that Chun could not see that the paint matched very well. I guess you could count the flake from the new to the old and maybe the new had more but in the sun it looked very good. That is always the problem with painting one area.......getting the paint to match perfectly.
Overall Chun's car looked very good to me and OH I LOVE THAT NEW WING. Now all we need is some help installing the new transmission in Chun's car at my house on Saturday.
Got to see mine before the paint......all of the little dents and the big one in the door, are gone even that little on in the hood that no one could see but me. Now if I can just keep it that way until after Seven Stock! I am kinda hoping to see my completed 8 by late Friday but I will not push them.....let every thing dry correctly.

I'm sorry!
Come on Sara, you don't seem the type that would let a class stand in the way of a trip to 7 stock........Friday night of 7 stock will be a scheduled meet in the bar at Double Tree with the first drink on Phil's 8.......
Just wanted to say it was awesome to have the showing of 8's last night that we did at the SCR meet, Renee, Chun, Sarah and Brandon thanks for coming and hopefully you'll continue to join us

Definitely a good meet and I was glad Brandon got to meet some of you guys. Lil Phil, glad you will be there Sat. I will definitely need your experience. I will be getting there around 10. Try to make this as quick as possible.
I think Chris needs to do his brakes real quick as well. But godfather said he could do those.

Phil I am picking up the box for the bumper today but it won't be already to ship out. I spoke to Goose, we are good to ship everything out Monday. I'll bring the bumper over to you in a box this weekend. Probably not tomorrow though as it won't exactly fit in Kasumi.
Anyone know where I can get Eneos synthetic tranny fluid in town?

Ok no problem. I make you package them as I have to pay a guy to do that and I'm cheap
Actually it cost more to box most things than to ship it.
Found some on W Reno. Shop called Speed Lab. Work on mostly hondas and nissans but they did mention decent discounts on hawk, abt and racing beat. Never know, might come in handy someday.
^^ I thought you sold it to some dude up on Seattle or San Diego who didn't speak English all that well. Talk to the DaGr8one. I know he wants to switch up his exhaust. I think he wants to go single but you never know, he might like yours.
Well I spoke to Rick, the guy who first helped with the transmission a while ago. And he told me how to get the drive shaft passed the torsion bar. The torsion bar itself comes apart into two pieces. There are two bolts in the middle up top and they allow the bar to separate so we can then lower the drive shaft and then of course lower the tranny.
I'm still waiting to hear back from Brandon on whether or not he's available to help. Once I do I'll give the heads up on trying again tomorrow.
