How many miles you have on it Marky??? Since I don't have a cat I forget that they clog up regularly. You might have that tested also.

AJ has use of my tools and can also check your compression just to be sure your not loosing the engine. He can check you coils and check a lot of other things also.

 

AJ, would you be OK with doing a before and after on my exhaust? Next week or at the meet for the before and we can save it for a week while I wait for the new mid pipe and then post them together.

I want a before and after on my exhaust. It will be a little while before I get the BHR mid pipe but the one I have now is pretty good. Your first ones were clear and well done.

OH and i have the rest of the exhaust system too but i got rear ended in april and they smashed the rh side tip so if anyone wants to pick that up they can have it for like 150

 

My CEL light came on while driving home... da heck?! Took her into Peoples (err Courtesy) but Peter was already gone. I would've left her there but needed a loaner / rental but Enterprise was closed and no loaners according to Doug... gotta call Peter tomorrow Yo Mike... make that call and hook a brotha up w/ a loaner! for a fellow rx8 clubber im willing to let it go cheaper, its just sitting in my garage. you can come by and take a look tomorrow morning if you wish but we have to leave by about 11:30 so it will have to be early, call my bf ryan if you want direction, i sent you an email with pics oh the exhaust and his phone number if you have questions.

also, i am selling the race pipe separetly so if you want that too its gonna be 250 but still thats 500 off brand new!!!!! lol

 

46k miles. i just left my car with the dealer for them to run a couple test on it. hopefully theyll have an idea on wat could be goin wrong with it

 

Hey is this the AP exhaust I saw on craigslist for the 8 that got rear ended? The exhaust looks good except a little ding on the tailpipe. That can be easily fixed.

I does give a good added sound - I want to make sure that what I add enhances the sound not destroy it.
I don't have any faith in the local Mazda dealers or their mechanics. They will do as little as possible and charge the most they can. I will never complain about the charge but expect them to make an effort. Most of the tests to find the fault can be performed at home in your garage or car port. The DIY sect ion of this Forum is very helpful - you lack tools?- well this is a club and one of us is sure to have what is needed.

Flip, come to the meet next Friday and I'll buy you one (or two) at the place we all end up. Actually that goes for all that come to the meet that are over 21.

You know.... my car is there right now, my tran is being rebuilt and my motor mounts replaced, but they also told me my coil packs are causing a dead mis. I emailed Charles last night to find some info out on the BHR coils because right now i have the Esmeril Racing Kit. Do any of you know how to test the coils out, so i can make sure i don't go spending a crap load more money than i need to? I told them to hold off on my coils and just do the tran and mounts for now.Not sure how long till i get my car back at this point though.
