I did all the research and shopping for my car, i still have more mods to come but im trying to pay the car off first because they will be pricey. I want to do the esmeril racing e85 kit and also their turbo kit, if not their turbo kit i want to do a one off. But the thing thats bothering me is i dont know anyone out here to tune our cars.

My last car was highly modified too, though it was a lame car to start with. I had a scion tc, unfortunately it was auto-tragic. But i did alot of astetics and then when i got bored with a pretty looking slow car, we turbo'd it. I miss the sound of my super squeeker.

This car is actually my first m/t

My car situation is getting progressively worse. It looks like I need a new tranny and I can't pay what Courtesy is asking for. If I can get a used one for cheap is anyone willing to help me put it in?

Right now Kasumi is still sitting over at Courtesy, I still need to settle up for the crazy expensive clutch they installed. Good deal huh, I don't know if I actually needed the damn clutch to begin with.

PM Armin - he likes working on the 8s and I am sure would be happy to help if you can front him some fuel money to get to you.......He is unemployed presently. I will pm you his phone number but it's at the house and they sometimes don't tell him you called.

Now you know why I don't like the local dealer.....

The one on centennial is rebuilding my tran, but its covered under warranty. Is yours out of warranty now?

Does anyone know what part of the warranty motor mounts falls under?

but i dont know if my service writer is just nuts but he said the extension on the warranty also included powertrain..... and he pulled up the screen and showed it to me, it was powertrain, engine, and something else i dont remember... maybe you should call them and have a different service writer take another look, or even call mazda corporate just to double check.

I got this number off of the Mazda website : 1-800-222-5500 Their hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:45pm Pacific Time

Last time i took my car in they took for ever to find out what was up, i called mazda corporate and they got on them and my car got taken care of fast. Right now i am dealing with the service writer at the one on centennial center, named doug, he seems nice, and was the one to find the info on the extended warranty. My trans is shot, im glad for the warranty cause id be screwed right now.... but the motor mounts i have to pay for out of pocket as far as i know.

You did not read my post correctly - It states that street racing is illegal - well it is - and against forum policy - it is and could get you banned - ask Armin

Now I know who you are RMXG8

LOCAL MEET SCHEDULE

I feel that if we have a scheduled meeting time and day we could get a turn out. As of July 2009 we will have a (one) scheduled meeting on the third Friday of every month. The scheduled meeting will take place every month and we will meet at the In & Out parking lot on West Sahara and will start at 7pm. Some months there will / may be trips to various locations or to get food.

I know that some of you work strange hours and accommodations to the side trips can be made for you.

The next meet will be Friday September 18th, 2009 (third Friday). Make some plans so that you will be there

Why get a new tranny???? What can be wrong with yours?? Kinda hard to distroy the whole tranny. I know who will do the parts change out for you if your not able but you will be down for a few days. Post your symtoms and complaints before you spend that kind of money.

Come to the meet and let's hear your problem.

Now if you have unlimited funds then this is a moot point but you did ask for the cheapest.
