What kind of drop do you have?

 

I would be on stock height I was looking on getting a set of lowering springs for now to eliminate the wheel gap maybe Tein S.Tech Springs?

 

Fronts will fit fine and Rears should work out fine too. If any fender work, it'll be minimal. (After Drop)

They will work fine without any fender work even if lowered. You are far from rubbing with that setup.

 

Do you think the sidewall is too big now? Overall diameter is pretty close with 275/30, ie the sidewall will be about 1/2" shorter than stock. 265/30 will have more wheel gap and make it easier to bend the rims. edit: Don't get 8.5 +45 for the front, atleast get 35.

 

What do you guys think of these? 18x9 45 offset... look good on an 8?

Won't be flush, but you'll be able tto run 275 all arouynd no problem.

ZEROTIDE: those will be ok - IMO, get a more aggresive offset. at 9" wide, aim for +30

If you can't find anything below that offset, go wider.


Noodle: IMO, i like 245/40 - you can possibly go slightly less on the side wall but that's just me. I like tall sidewalls

They have these also in +38 offset... so that would look better. If it has 38 that means it would stick out more than a 45 right? They also have +15 that just seems really low.

 

the lower the offset the more they stick out in mm wise

try not to mess up on the offset... its only a one shot thing and once you mess up you cant go back! you will regret it for life!

 

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a brand new set of wheels. My choice so far is the Volk CE28N which are very light.

I have two choices, either 18x9.5 or 19x9.5. I want the same size for all wheel.

Is this too wide for the front ?
I was looking to put some 255/35/19 on the 19" but have no idea of what would be best for the 18".

Please help me out, I have no idea about the offset, +34, +40, +42, +47 for the 18" or +35, +45 for the 19". I am totally lost here.

Anyone has experience with that size ? Should I aim for something conservative like a 8.5" or 9"

the reason why I am looking for these wheels is the look and the weight. 17 lbs for the 18" and 21lbs for the 19". You will understand that I have a preference for the 18". BTW I am tracking (lapping) from time to time, so the handling is very important for me.

I have set of ce28n for sale... size is 18x8.5 +30 with tires 245/40/18 front and 18x9.5 +34 with tires 275/35/18.

The front is perfect without rubbing and the rears needs to be rolled.

Don't listen to these guys, a proper fitting wheel is whats most important. Offset =/= life
