I will be getting new tires so I guess I'll look into that size. Will there be any issues with either of those sizes on the offsets I mentioned?

Has anyone considered making a master list using all of the info in the thread? Maybe a table showing wheel sizes, tire sizes, offsets, and idea of what the fitment will be like.

With 80 pages of useful info I'm sure that there are lots of repeat questions.

^It's a good idea, but would be really hard. Theres alot of different variables to consider such as, ride height, spring rates, different tires are sometimes made a little wider, or narrower...etc.

There could at least be a list of obvious stuff though lol. aka will 18 x 8 + 48 work with 225/45/18? or will 19 x 10.5 + 15 work with 295/35/19 slammed? I'm not sure it would help most of the people that ask those questions though.

Hey guys... you helped last time... now I need to get a set of springs...... I can pick up a set of mazdaspeed springs, if not, I am considering a set of tein s-techs (cause they are extremely common), tanabe nf (cause they are almost at oem spring rates), problem is i have these 19" wheels and the back are kind of wide... which ones would be the best ride (not too harsh, would prefer something like oem, maybe a tad stiffer) without rubbing or causing trouble with the wheels

also, would i need an expensive camber kit properly align the wheels after to drop? (after dropping my Civic before, i was running through tires because the camber was pretty bad) I am enjoying even tread on my tires since the car hasn't been lowered....

Wheel and tire Config:
f: 19x8.5 w/ 36 offset 225/35/19
r: 19x9.5 w/ 42 offset 245/35/19

IMO, MS Springs. Clean drop w/some space.

That is unless you wanna be dumped right onto the wheel. Then perhaps the s-techs might work by pulling the inside.

Here you go... I started it for you... now you finish it....

Seriously, that would be a great idea, but to filter out all that info would be real tedious... maybe just start a new thread with the attached spreadsheet.

I'm torn between matte black fn01r-c's and black super hiros. they are both the same price and idk which to get. I haven't been able to find any RX-8's with super hiros so idk if they would look good or not.

Also one more question. Anyone know if the Super Hiros take TPMS?

Thanks
get 38 offset and 245/40/18 or 235/45/18 - 225 will fit but will be looking a bit streched, not too bad though

It'll fit. I've got 19x9.5, +35, with that size tire... but I had to roll my fenders.

So i just picked up a set of rpf1s 17x10 +38. Going to be getting tires soon, and just wanted to know what setup would be best.
would 255/40/17 direzza star spec work?
or just go with ecsta xs 275/40/17? would be using them on track too.
Thanks

I've been meaning to ask, what's the widest tire that can fit oem 18" wheels? Just curious
