depending on ur tire and ur amount dropped... that may just work. close call tho.

i say go for it. worse case scenario your going to need a fender roll.

My buddy wants to get these for his 05 GT RX8 and change the caps. I don't see why it would fit. But he's paranoid. He wants to be 110% sure. Any experience with Infiniti 19" OEM wheels anyone? I think it would look pretty good really.

18x9.5 +40

what's the widest tyre i can use (i'm thinking a 255/265 would suffice)?

this would be with type flex (if it helps since any of my posts are from choosing race wheels) i don't have type flex, but it's my plan.

will it fit? (man this thread is great!)

Front wheels: 8X19, offset 30mm

Rear wheels: 8.5X19, offset 33mm
im running 19X8.5 +33 up front... that being said this should be ok since the diameter is less

Overall Diameter will be more determined by the tire.... 18" with 35 series and 19" 30 series are comparable.....you wouldn't run the same sidewall height on an 18 and 19" rim...the 19" would be way too tall

The offset determines where the inner and outer lip of the wheel is positioned in relation to the fixed parts of you car

Tire width will also have a factor in rubbing...and it isn't always as easy as it looks....for instance..265 series Neovas are wider than 275 series Azenis...

When you are getting close to rubbing...sometimes the only thing that works is trial and error

If the width of your rim is the same front/rear - there is really no reason to stagger your offset. You should be able to find an offset that will fit both the front and rear.

Im guessing id have to run some major negative rear camber to get it to fit.... Definately need to roll the fenders right....

tyre wise im thinking

235/35/19 front
275/30/19 rear
is that the full appearance kit on the car in your sig? also, are those the mazdaspeed rims? car looks hot.

SSR D5R Wheels

Hey guys I need some help. I read through all the posts in this thread, but am still a little confused. I am looking at buying a set of SSR D5R rims in Gunmetal from kennychopra17. He says they are 19x9.5 all around with a +40 offset. He says you can fit 255/35/19 tires with no rubbing. So my question is: Will these fit rims with either 245/35/19 or 255/35/19 tires fit well so I don't need to modify anything and they won't rub? I don't want to have the camber adjusted or have the fenders rolled. I prefer to get 245/35/19 tires though. I also have upgraded rotors which came with the car. They are cross-drilled/ slotted. Will I have any issues getting the wheels to fit with these? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I found a deal on a set of rims I really like only problem is I don't think they will fit.
i will have tein flex coilovers on this spring, the rims are
19x8 +30 front
19x10 +30 rear.
Please let me know about the fitment and if it is possible what tires to run. thanks for the help.

Alright, my turn. Since I just destroyed my rims on V-day, it's time to upgrade.

wheels
offset:35mm
18x8.5 f
18x9.5 r

tires
225/45 f
245/40 r

pretty conservative, I know, but that's how I roll

WILL IT FIT?!?

BigO, here's what I'm thinking of:

19x9.0 all the way around. +35 offset (I'm trying to decide on offset, +40 is also an option)
265 / 35 / 19 tire

Suspension = Konis + S-Techs

You may rub some on the rears; my 19 by 9.5 +28 rubbed and I only have a 245 back there. With a +40 I don't think you would...
