with 9.5 +28 you are 13 mm further out than what jedi is looking at with a 9.0 +35
factoring in tires there would be 10 mm more meat on outside with his (considering same tire). that means his would still be further in than yours by at least 3 mm. having stretched the tire on 9.5 the difference is probably greater. crazy aggressive!

with that said, the rear may rub, but nothing that a roll can't take care of.

we just need to figure out the fronts, jorge. lol

Good Math; I mentally had it about 1cm; but the tires kind of threw me.

I plan to move to 255 or 265 after I kill these. I am not to down with the whole I wanna be a drifter thing; but they came with the car. Plus it jacks the rims up more.

I'm trying to buy the rims tonight. Any help would be appreciated!

wheels
offset:35mm
18x8.5 front
18x9.5 rear

tires
225/45 front
245/40 rear

Edit: found the answer! They'll fit no problem

SSR D5R Wheels

Repost: (I am trying to buy these wheels in the next couple of days, so any help on fitment would be greatly appreciated)

Hey guys I need some help. I read through all the posts in this thread, but am still a little confused. I am looking at buying a set of SSR D5R rims in Gunmetal from kennychopra17. He says they are 19x9.5 all around with a +40 offset. He says you can fit 255/35/19 tires with no rubbing. So my question is: Will these fit rims with either 245/35/19 or 255/35/19 tires fit well so I don't need to modify anything and they won't rub? I don't want to have the camber adjusted or have the fenders rolled. I prefer to get 245/35/19 tires though. I also have upgraded rotors which came with the car. They are cross-drilled/ slotted. Will I have any issues getting the wheels to fit with these? If I need to roll the fenders, how much would that generally cost? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you will be good with a +40; the 245 will be stretched though.

I think the wheels would be OK....the tires would need to be a 30 series though to have a hope of being the right diameter..........

What do you mean the tires would need to be stretched? I am new with this, so I don't know much about offsets and profiles. Thanks.

He means that the 245 would be a bit narrow to fit normally on a 9.5" rim...255-275 would be better.

Will Toyo T1R's in 255/30/19 fit on all four with no problems? Also, how would the ride feel with that wide of a tire?

You could probably go to 275-30-19...the 255's would be closer in 35 series...I checked the dia's

try http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/tires.html and pulg in the #'s to see what difference you will have with the different sizes

the back will probably rub with a 275/30/19 9.5 +40 depending on camber. going with a 255/35/19 should clear it fine

So a 255/35/19 tire without anything adjusted should fit fine with no rubbing? This will work for all four wheel correct?

I'm just wondering how wide of tires I can get on 18x8s? I've already gone up to 245/40 for my track setup, but now that I'm planning to upgrade from RT615s to some Nitto NT01s, I'm curious if I can get anything wider on them. Any advice? Thanks guys!

(If I decide to keep my wheels) instead of selling, I might do a 245 / 35 / 19. I found a set of Avons that I think will do the tick within my budget. What do you guys think on a 19 x 9.5 + 40 wheel?

I really think your going to rub with a 255 or higher Jedi. But a roll is cheap.
