Haven't seen too many posts about wheel size 18x7.5 all around with a 40 offset. The tires would be 225/40/18. Is there anything wrong with this setup?

stock is 225/45 and 8 inch rim....you wont see many posts about smaller sizes because it is a downgrade

Yes, if you roll or shave your rear fenders.

and these? I know it's a tad bit on the aggressive side....but will it be a problem?

tough to say about the rear. will at least need to roll. the tire size will help it fit, but the stretch and offset could still make it rub. may depend on your camber set up in the end.

why are you looking at putting a 225 on a 9.5 rim? that's severely stretching.

just trying to do cost effectiveness thats all was considering useing oem wheels..

OK if i go w/ an agreessive set up like that what do you recomment I do in terns of wheels to make it work? Would i need allot of negative camber to make it work?

I dont mind having to roll if need be...as long as I can get it to work w/no rubbing that would be great...

*Note to everyone looking at fender rolling

depending how aggressive your set up (wheels and drop), you might have to flare out the fender slightly at the edge where the bumper and fender bolt together. there is a tab there that the tire will often rub against when angling.

for those that have gone with fender shave, such as i did. i shaved part of the tab as well.

but I guess it's possible to shave it and have the fender rolled as well.

some people like the little flare though...

my turn..

255/35/19

F: 19x9.5" +38mm offset
R: 19x9.5" +38mm offset

lowered ~1.5"

Will it stick out of the fenders and look odd? I could go with a safer and higher +45mm offset, but the lower offset gives a more aggressive dish (or more concavity, depending on the rim style)

Rays Rmp R.em Roga

Hi,

I'm looking at getting these wheels, the offsets available:

http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2...delName=ROGA19

which are : 19" x 8.5" (front) with +25 or +33 or +43
19" x 9.5" (rear) with +22 or +30 +43

I'm thinking these would fit nicely:

19" x 8.5" (front) with +33
19" x 9.5" (rear) with +43

Am I right? please advice. Also, which tyres should go with these wheels?
I prefer not to roll any fenders and do not intend to lower the car.

Thanks in advance.

This is the wheel:

http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2...el=015_ROGA19#

I'm looking at the GunMetal to go with my velocity red with mazdaspeed bodykit. Any comment?

Are you looking for an aggressive look?

You should go wider on the wheel size and tires first. There's no reason to go with a smaller wheel width than stock unless it's for snow.

You will rub up front. Your rear would be fine if you roll/shave.

I say go with the +45 offset, unless you want to stagger your offset.

if you do +45 all around, you'll be able to rotate your wheels easily. no having to unmount, remount, and balance.

they will fit fine depending on your tire size.

fronts with 245/35/19
rears with 265/35/19

people often go with 275/30/19 for the back, but have to shave their fenders. since you don't plan on dropping, you might be able to run that. I can't say for sure, cuz i was never on the stock suspension long enough to see how much it tucked. that's why im saying 265s, because they will fit without rubbing for sure.

What about 19x9 G-games 77w with a +36 offset and 245/35/19 tires? Will these fit with no issues? Also, is 19x9 too wide for a 245 tire? Thanks.

I'm not going for any super aggressive look. Just wondering what my off set should be as I have found these wheels and really want them on. I imagine with only a 7.5" wide rim I won't have any fitment issues, but wanted to make sure just in case and didn't want them in too far.

Can I still do a 245 series tire on 7.5"?

Once again these are my specs:

Racing Hart CR's
Wheel Diameter (F/R) : 18"
Wheel Width (F/R) : 7.5"
Suspensions Changes : No Changes

And thanks for the response, much appreciated.
