REPOST...

Ok I was originally gonna go with ROCKSTAR_RX8's Setup of

Volk GTF
Front 19x9 +35mm 225/40/19
Rear 19x10 +36mm 255/35/19

BUT
the rep over a forgedperformace.com is telling me that the 19s come only in 9.5 and 10.5

So if I get the 9.5 and 10.5 should i just stick with the same offset and tires?

The 9.5" should fit on all 4 corners at +35.....

The rears would probably need a fender roll.......depending on then tire

The 19s come in 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 on this website:
http://www.neweraparts.com/Default.a...&ProductID=735

Are the prices better on forged performace, or on neweraparts?

I would recommend you get 8.5s and 9.5s if you want staggered because 10.5s will be crazy hard to get to fit well.

Guys I am about to order some Volk GT-V's in 19x8.5 with a +43 offset for all 4 wheels. I am also going to be running 245/35/19 tires. Will these fit with no issues? I am pretty sure there will be no problems because it is between +40 and +50. Would a +40 offset also fit fine? I was also curious about the tire size. I know people said that this tire size is equivalent to the stock 225's, but does that also mean that these won't compromise traction in the rain if I got Toyo T1R's? Thanks.

...anyone?

I'm actually going to be staying with the RT615s, so I'm wondering if I can fit a 255/40 or just stick with the 245s.

Hm, was thinking about some 18" x 9,5" with 35 offset.

Anyone know if I can fit 265/40 rear on that without it rubbing? Or do I have to go for a 35?
Probably 18" x 8,5" front or so with 225 or 230 x 40 or 35 if I have to.

Its actually cheaper at forged because of shipping to Guam....but thanks...

These wheel sizes n offsets are driving me nuts...i'll be placing the order in a few days...just waitin on payday. im gonna settle for these...

Front 19x8.5 +34
Rear 19x9.5 +36

Im not too sure how it will turn out but if anyone has any recommendations for the offsets and/or tires will be really helpful...

I have some 18X8.5 RGII's. I am currently sporting 225/45ZR18 tires and they're a little streached. I have lowered it about 1" with some adjustable coilovers.

I'm looking a wider tire with a similar profile. They'll also be my street/track tires. What are some reasonable tire sizes that I should look for when buying my summer tires?

For track duty:

17x8 all around

with 235/40R-17, or 245/45R-17 tires.

is this not a viable setup? it's CHEEP!

Looking to fit ADVAN Neova AD07 tires in the following sizes:

245/35?/19 front
275/30?/19 back

Planning on getting Enkei Racing RPF1 19" wheels. Can you guys advise on the right width and offset?

car is lowered 1.5in on the front and .7 on the back

edit: also giving some consideration to staying with 18's, so a suggestion for that would also be really appreciated.

Thanks!

This is a consideration for my 06 Copper Red Shinka. I have 2 questions.

Will they look good....and will 225x45x18's fit on a 18x7.5 wheel with a 48 offset. I'm just waiting on an email to see if they are TPMS compatble.

Honest Opinions please, good bad or ugly. It is SO hard to find the right combination of wheel for this color of car.

Can't help with fitment Qs, but they are nice looking rims. I especially like the slighly darker color (but not quite gunmetal?) on the inner lip. Should look good.

I'm thinking about getting some new wheels here in a month or so.. don't know too much about the whole fitment thing so anyone who can help that would be great:
Wheels - 18x7.5, Offset 40, Lugs 4/5 x 100/112/114.3/120.
Tires - 225/40/18.
Probably a pretty standard setup but if I need to do anything special please fill me in!

Thanks! It's considered gunmetal, yes. I've looked at Black, & bronze, and they don't look right on any wheel, with the paint. *sigh*....

Should not rub...

18X9 +34/265 puts yours 6 mm in from my 19X9.5 +28/245; ....... something like that.

Mine only rubbed by about 3 mm or so....

* All these numbers are rounded / guessed somewhat.
