Hey guys, general question, not rx8 related,

Is it safe to run a 305/30/19 tire on a 19x10 wheel? I heard that sidewall would get soft and could be dangerous too. thanks

I just got set of 17x10s RPF1s SBC, will be running 275/40/17 NT05s. Would a roll be necessary? I do have coilovers. Or another size would limit me from doing this? I have 2 weeks before a trip to Deals Gap and would like to know so i can get them before the event.
Thanks

Yeah, they will be fine, although concave all around would be a lot better.

It's safe, but on an rx8 it really wont fit.

What is the offset? If it is 45 like everyone else you will be fine.

You'll be fine, if your low you might rub in the rear.

Sorry actually thinking up to 9.5" wide but I'm sure the more knowledgeable posters will respond soon.

Anything about 8" would technically be a stretch, but in reality you can probably run up to 10" wheel and be fine.

I have 245/40 on a 9.5 and it's not my cup o' tea lol. The tire is a bit too skinny for me.

Haha, I don't really want to stretch my brand new tires and the rims I want are 8.5 so I should be okay then.

^ yes, but you'll rub in the rear. My new wheels are the same specs with 275 tires and I rub in the rear. The front is perfect and does not rub.

BBS RX 17" x 9" all around

Stock suspension for now. Can't find a clear answer on the offset since they were last used on a '94 Mustang GT ages ago. I told the guy to break out his ruler and get back to me but does anyone know the offset for these?

I imagine they made more than one offset but they will probably work.

fender rolling will fix that. With the +30, you will need a roll and maybe some more camber.

This will fit but you'll have to roll it with 265s, doesn't matter what you run the 9s or the 10s...

Alright, I got all the info now:
17 x 9 +28 all around, stock suspension. What kinda rubber can I fit on these without fender roll but with spacers if necessary?

They will rub with anything over 245/255's spacers won't help...they would make it worse

I picked up a set of SSR Type C RS 19x8.5 +40 and will be lowered on s-techs. I am thinking 245/35/19 or 255/35/19. Any issues with either?
