Will It Fit Thread
By the way guys thanks for the info! I got my setup that fits now. The set is as I said before, 18x8.5 fronts and 18x10 rears. 235/40's on the fronts and the problems I had with the rears which I had 235/50's. the 50's were way to big and were getting destroyed by my fender/bumper mounting joint. I asked for sizes recommendations here and got some good ideas. I tried the 235/40's but it was impossible to get the bead to seat on the rim, tires were just too low of a profile to stretch onto the rim and lacked the necessary width.. Got a 245/40 and tried it, was a stretch but did get them to fit. Looks fantastic too. So set up now consists of fronts: 18x8.5-235/40 and rear: 18x10-245/40's for reference for anyone on here needing the info.
Lol ok I'll make sure to slap him next time I'm in. Who or where do you recommend for the extreme stretching? They had 5 or 6 different tire techs attempt to get the 235/40's on the 18x10 and they all failed. I was tired of them wasting my time so I asked if they could fit the 245's instead. Reluctantly they did so. I'm In the stl area, so next time I need tires I would like to get as extreme as I can so recommendations are needed.
And I will be sure to post up some pics

Thats not an extreme stretch by ANY means. Go to a place that's works on custom cars etc. No where like discount tire or firestone, pretty much no where corporate where kids will be mounting your stuff.
Didn't end up going with that set. Picked up a set of Rays MS01-LM with specs;
18x8 +38, 235/40/18
18x9 +38, 265/35/18
Fitment is excellent. Rubbing on a plastic panel sticking out in the fender. If the tire size was 255, I'd probably be able to tuck the tire. I'll take some pics soon.

Suspension before wheels. Saying you are getting coilovers doesn't help either. Need some idea of ride height. Go super low and roll the fenders (for sure necessary) + trim bumper tabs(may be necessary).
Depending on how low you are, its going to be close but, These should fit with a fender roll. I JUST sold a set of Battles I had on, they were 18x9.5 +23 225/45.. A little bit of a stretch but they looked and fit nice ... You have a good chance of rubbing so your probally going to eat up your fender liners
How wide are the wheels? If they are 9" or less they should be OK...if they are 9.5 or wider you will likely have to roll the fenders.
If they are 10+ they will need more than a simple roll....
18x8.5 +40 on 245/40/18
Will I be able to run 25mm spacers on this setup? Or will it poke out too much? I dont mind rolling my fenders or cutting the tabs. Just wondering if it'll poke out like a 4x4.

i have 19x8.5 +40 rims up front. I put 255/40/19 tires up front and Im rubbing the inner wheel well plastic when I turn. I am lowered on Tein S-techs. Will dropping down to a 245/40/19 solve my issue?
Thanks
