No, people who don't pay attention when they drive ncrease the chance of curb rash. Just don't park along curbs, pay close attention when entering and leaving a a drive thru, and pay attention when you turn corners and you won't curb your wheels.

Exactly. If you're running a x12 wheel with +50 offset you'll need AT LEAST a 40mm adapter/spacer. My 18x12 are 0 offset and will maybe have like 10mm of clearance on the inside on negative 6+ camber.

This makes sense. I think in the day I spent researching everything suspension and wheel fitment related, I confused how offset affects the wheel. I basically just need to counter the wheel's natural offset with thick adapters. Which works fine, since I'll already need adapters to make the bolt pattern work.

Time for a test fit and some real life measurements, since I think I understand from what help I've gotten here, that they'll fit with some work.

Thanks guys!

Good luck man. I consider myself an expert in wheel fitment. I dont think this is a size you should be playing with unless you're ready to throw down some serious coin on pulling the fenders and finding someone to stretch insane tires like mine. This isnt a matter of even rolling fenders, you're going to need over a half inch pull, done perfectly, to fit this wheel. You'll also need adjustable camber and toe arms from Megan racing and good set of coilovers that will prevent you from smashing your fenders with the lips of the wheels.
I recommend against this if you're not familiar with fitment.

How about Advan Racing RS 18x8 +45 with a 25mm spacer running 225/40/18 yokohoma advans. I'm on fully adjustable coilovers. Will I have to roll fenders/remove tabs etc? How flush?

I keep searching, but everything is 18x8.5/8.75... Thanks in advance and sorry if this was a repost but I went through the first 15 pages of google and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have an 05 Rx8 completely stock. Wondering if a 17x9 with +62 offset tires will be 255/45/17 all around. Will it fit? I'm going to use them for autocross and will be getting an alignment too.

They are TR C3 in black, came off an S2000. Another set I'm looking at are some fake Cobra R's for dirt cheap. Not going for looks at all just a set to put a used set of RS3s on and run at autocross for this season only before I sell it.

Shorter tires would be helpful and get something with a little lower of an offset.

This is the kind of answer I was looking for. Thanks for the detail. Guess I'll shoot for 18x9.5 all around then.

If anyone's curious about the wheels, they're C6 Corvette Grand Sport wheels. Same size as the C6 Z06 wheels.

why do you want to run that wide of a tire? Totally unnecessary and super expensive size too.
