The only other wheel I like is the RP03 but I've never had this kind of wheel(concave wheel look) and want to try it out.I really like the style of the XXR's and if it will look evenly flush with +35's then I can just do that with 18x9.75 still running 245/40.

Wait so 245 on 8.75 is stretched now? You want the 9.75 for the stretched look and you also want lower offset than +35 or it will look stupid. I'm sure Mr Pieper can show you what the +20 looks like.

Would have taken a few fresh ones but it is dark and raining. 245/40 on an 18x9.75 +20 xxr.

Okay, gotchya. So lets say I go with 245/40's, roll/pull fenders, delete fender liners, shave tabs, and run a bit of negative camber (nothing too crazy, preferably -3 at the most on the rear, maybe more up front). This would be lowered on HKS Hipermax RS coilovers. I'm going for aggressive fitment, but not the hellaflush super slammed and cambered to the point of losing function bollocks.

Thank you Mr. Pieper and J8635621 that is exactly what I was looking for! What did you have to do for these to fit? Are there any problems like rubbing or removing the corner light? I looked through your threads and couldn't find the info.

Also edited my post above this one to say "concave look" instead of "stretch look". I couldn't for the life of me think of the word "concave".

Rolled the fenders a little, trimmed around the rear tab, and a touch of camber in the rear after it rubbed slightly.

What would be "a touch of camber"?

An extra degree negative. Think I'm gonna add a little to the front as well when I get some time.

for all your visual needs.
This website is literally so useful when you're unsure about the amount of stretch a tire will have or when you're trying to match front and rear stretch.

Interesting link. I wish there were tire shops that offered rental tires for checking fitment.

If you talk to shops that specialize in making fitted cars or have experience in it. They'll be able calculate how much clearance you'll have with each tire size.

Thank you Jnumbers for your thread of rules on wheel fitment. I emailed Goodwin Racing and they have a great price on the 18x9.5 +38 Enkei RP03 wheels I want. if you are looking for wheels please click on this link by J8635621 and read the simple rules to wheel fitment: https://www.rx8club.com/wheels-tires...ls-rx8-232206/

You mean the one in my sig when I don't post from my phone? EDIT: I have those exact wheels btw and I doubt Goodwin has a great price. Good maybe, but great is pushing it.

My car is now lower and with wider tires and some other little stuff.

I've been posting from my phone so I couldn't see any sig blocks. So if not Goodwin, then who? He was the lowest priced after a good google search at $329.

Your car looks great! Well at least my car is WWP so it won't look exactly the same.

The place I used is not available anymore. I got them cheaper than that though. I bet that $329 is not including shipping? Edge racing or something like that is supposed to be good too.

That stuff fits. All you need to do is remove your fenders.

REAR: 18-9.5 +25

Tire sizes for now

F/R: 245's

Hopefully newer 245's in the front and maybe 265 in the back?

Im on stock springs

If it makes a difference they are xxr 522 rims

Rubbing issues? fender rolling?
