So, during the statewide run my 245/40-18's performed much differently stretched than they did normally on the stockers. I didn't feel as confident so i am thinking of going up to 265/35-18's. Thoughts? My buddy owns a tire shop and he sell a W rated tire called the Fierce made by Goodyear that comes in a 255/40-18 UHP, thoughts?

The conditions of the day could have been different... (colder tires).

Nah, Grungepup brought that up too and the ambient temps were about the same as the last time we ran. I actually looked it up on weather.com It was good and hot. They felt okay but I was breaking loose more that usual.

So how much tread is left on these tires? 265s would be good. 255 no so good.

They're not re-branded tires, Conti just owns the company now.

There is plenty of tread left, I only use the N2O on straights.

Nah just seeing what 9.5 +23 with 245s looks like since 9.5 +22 is a common size in wheels I want. I'm pretty sure it's gonna push the wheels out just enough for me not to like it. I'm happy with my +28.

Youre making me rethink my specs as well. Like you im considering 9 +22 which is close. Im waiting for your pics to give me a idea of what it will look like. I dont think it will stick out to much. I dont think it would look too bad since ross has 9 +25 and looks pretty good. Ross seems to be pretty flush with his fender which is the look im going after.

but you aren't as low as Ross either. 9.5 +22 would stick out the same as 9 +16. 9 +22 is equal to my 9.5 +28. approximately edit: I'd be lower than Sifu if I could. I like my car to pick up dirt.

camber, stretch at least 245s, roll flat, get rid of bumper tab, be on coilovers

if you want to be on 265 you will need to pull
