I don't have Works, so I won't post any pics. You did try to tell me that staggered means having the front wheels not flush. Don't deny it.

Look at how many posts you have and then look at how many I have in just the Will It Fit thread. I know what I'm talking about lol.

It depends on your ride height and camber settings, but here is my car lowered on coilovers approximately 1.7" up front and 1.25" in the rear (I think) at 18x9.5 +28 rear and 18x9.5 +33 front with 245/40 Nitto Invo and -2.2 camber all around.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/j863562...7623744260352/

Invo are pretty wide for 245s I think. I had to roll the rear fenders and trim some of the plastic off the bumper tab. Not a bunch of work really. If you aren't lowered, the wheels are gonna stick outside the fender. It's basically the setup you are asking about. 2-3mm is almost nothing.

If I could change my order, you think I should go 18 x 9.5" all around instead?

And get 245/40 ?

I told you already that it could work with up to 275s. That is what I would do personally, but it is your car.

That is not a rule I'm aware of.......245/40 is within manufacturer's guidelines for a 9.5" wide wheel fwiw

Well I will make a call tomorrow to see if I can still change the order.

I am getting my thoughts change... many different ideas from different people.

To be honest, my original staggered setup is bad?

Like has been said before, it probably doesn't matter a whole bunch unless you are on a track pushing the car pretty hard.

Another way of putting it is that staggered is not necessary or good. It's not bad necessarily either.

Is there any reason why you wouldn't want the front to have a concave face as well?

About the concave, I believe the front are Semi-concave and the rears are deep-concave with the same offset. Got that from the spec sheet.

this is semi-concave, some might hate it, but personally i don't think i've got am aggressive enough kit to go with the full concave look.
and kenken, yes and no, some offset overlaps each other (concaveness-wise) but yeah, check the spec sheet to see which ones are concave and which one's flat, or which ones are in the middle.

fyi j8635621, evo x has 8.5 stock wheels wrapped in 245 rubbers. not saying you can't run 245 on a 9.5, but is it better? idk

You sad your fronts are tucked in too much ok And yes I said I like the staggered look but what I was trying to say was I like the rears pokeing out more than the fronts to excentuate the rears to make them look fatter. OK so I ****** know what staggard means and your post # obviously reflects how much time you have on your hands to complain about nonsence ok. I apologize but reading it sometimes doesn't sound as good when your explaining it in person. So that comment really ticked me off

Never said I hate the semiconcave or whatever. I just don't see the point if you can get the full concave. It's like leaving a little bit on the table.

That Evo thing doesn't really have much to do with it. There are reasons to have 285s on an 8" rim and there are reasons to have 245s on a 9.5". It all depends on what you want to accomplish. 245s on a 9.5 give more responsiveness for example due to tighter sidewalls.

lol guys

the only thing j is saying is that staggered means the wheel sizes are different it doesnt really have anything to do with either wheels being tucked. you could have staggered and both be flush, which is the case on most cars that actually put power to the ground and need wider tires in the back

Mazda RX804 made me LOL at his sheer stupidity. Don't post on this forum if you can't take criticism and other people's opinions lightly.

Sorry I didn't proofread your post a little more to see if you meant something that wasn't actually typed. You said "you sad your front wheels are tucked in too much." Sad and said are two different words that mean two different things.

I took the liberty of doing some proofreading on your last post though. Hope you don't mind.

More to the point

18x8.5 +25 (flushness same as 18x9.5 +38), dropped on coilovers
